Great customer service
The first one received had a hiccup with the battery. Emailed customer service and they responded quickly and end up sending me a new one. No issues and very convenient and easy to use.

Totally inaccurate.
I carefully read the instructions to make sure I performed the tests properly. Within a 24 hour period I tested my blood twice, once before going to a lab for a professional test, and once afterward. The first test result was 10.5. The second result was less than 7.0 (this tester does not give an exact reading when below 7.0). The lab result was 9.0, which I know is correct, not only because it's a lab, but I've been following my hemoglobin count for months due to severe, recurring anemia. This tester is useless when the results are so wildly different. I researched online and found a scientific article on a new method that tests fingernails. It's called Anemocheck. The first 30 days are free and afterward it's $50 per year. I downloaded the app and ran the test the day after my lab test and the result was 9.6, definitely close enough for me to trust the result. And no need to prick myself to get blood! I wish I had known about Anemocheck before I purchased the BeneCheck. I'm returning it for a refund. I am thankful for Amazon's return policy.

Knowledge is key!
I purchased this monitor after having surgery and bleeding out. I wanted to monitor my hemoglobin going forward after getting out of the hospital, without having to constantly go to the doctors office. I love this product. I didn’t know they even had monitors that test anything but glucose. I would recommend this to anyone who has issues with Anemia.

Test Strips
Seems okay and accurate. But I can’t find anywhere to order new test strips for this model?

Wide range in numbers within seconds
Anyone know why my numbers go from 51% to 40% with hermatocrit right away? And hemoglobin 17-12-10# with tests within a couple of mins?

Good product, responsive seller
For reasons unknown this is not available in the US. This source sent promptly, and while it took several emails to nail down that the first set up number is the calendar year (last 2 digits), they did respond until it was resolved. Complicated process by necessity, but seems to give accurate results.

Inaccurate
The machine is easy to use, but very inaccurate. Four once daily readings of the hemoglobin/hematocrit on the same person, with usage of the same technique as directed in the device manual, resulted in readings varying from hemoglobin of 9.4 to 12.4. A venous specimen checked on the same day was two points higher on the hemoglobin than this machine. Another person in our family had hemoglobin values varying by two points checked only minutes apart. I do not recommend this machine for anyone wanting accurate results.

Not what it seems
I ordered this so I could watch the values on HB...the box shows a picture of the numbers represented, and not where does it say to the contrary,...when I got the unit, it only registers Lo or Hino numerical value presented...so really no value in tracking your numbers, would not recommend this to anyone.
