365 by Whole Foods Market, Ghee, 9 Ounce

Got turned on to ghee while on my first Whole30 diet (recommended for gut health, incidentally). Love the stuff!

We use it in butter chicken but also love it on popcorn! Unlike stick butter the popcorn doesn't get soggy.

I like the flavor, the high smoke point and the versatility of this!!

SO HARD TO OPEN! Almost had to return it until I loosened up the metal lid by sticking a knife through the edges to try to stretch it out.

Very fresh

It’s good but it oddly separates. It looks like the end of clarified butter when it gets too warm in the house. 74°? I don’t run the AC at 65°, so knowing other ghee’s have never did this, I may go back to those.

This arrived liquid at room temp (in November). We refrigerated it to see if it would solidify. It did; so we left it out to see if it would remain solid. It became very fluid again. Processing should have removed most of the water. The ingredients statement didn't list any fluids. So this went into the trash as untrustworthy. I will make my own ghee again. It can be made in the microwave, and for the price of a stick of butter. Ten of my dollars were waisted by this product.

It's fine. I like the glass jar but I'm not sure if it was grass fed. That was a disappointment
