Don’t expect too much
Overall they are doing the job, nevertheless the mechanics are not very precise as you have to adjust and test each side separately. Due to the tolerance of the used parts, difference of the spring preload and the missing adjustment positions you have to count the turns of the adj. screw you have applied. If you want an accurate mechanism you should go for the more expensive competitor products.

Very bad pedal..
This is the worst ever clipless pedal it doesn't even cleats in need to force it hard like you need to put all your body weights on it. And when it's in its so big the fornthe cleats meaning it's like you put a cents in a big jar. It's completely useless for me. I even throw it to the garbage.. so bad

Lightweight but can take a beating
Bought them for a trail riding bike tour I was doing. Sort of stiff to clip in at first but then it got more broken in by the end of the first day. Pretty normal for SPDs. Great grip on the nonspd side. Scuffed up paint after 150 miles of trail but still going strong. Would recommend.

Hard to clip in, or stay clipped in
The flat pedal itself is OK. However, I've tried all of the tension settings and either cannot clip in easily, and when I do clip in they don't stay in.I swapped the supplied cleats with my shimano's, and there's no improvement. For comparison, I tested both sets of cleats on my new shimano PD-E500's and they work like a charm. Easy in, easy out. Also, the metal used for the adjustment screws seem soft as my Allen key was quick to wear out the shape on the first day.I have no issues with Rockbros as a company - I have a pair of their aluminium flats and very happy with them. But I regret getting these.Like I said, perhaps I have a bad apple as others seem happy looking through the reviews. But now they're worn out after multiple attempts to clip in, I doubt I can return them.2 stars as the at pedal side is fine.

Great price for a great product.
I've already purchased several sets of RockBros regular flat pedals for some project bikes I'm rebuilding, so it was a no-brainer to order a set of these for my new mountain bike. I like having the option of SPD cleats for long climbs and sprints, while having the flat-pedal option for single track and downhilling. I'd looked at some pricier pedals with these same features, but because of my previous experiences with the regular pedals, I decided to give these a try. I'm extremely happy with the purchase, and have some recommendations. I like these pedals because when you're using the SPD side, you have lots of "float" on the pedal... you can twist your foot around without disengaging, which I really like. I always set the tension for as loose as it will go, as I like to be able to kick out of them very quickly, or if I wreck, I want my feet to disengage so I'm not tumbling with the bike still attached to me. That's a big plus with these pedals. On the flip side, the flat-pedal section is great and works exactly as expected. One thing to note if you get these pedals... you might want to get a pair of shoes that works well with both sides. Mostly likely, your regular SPD cleated shoes will have fairly hard soles, which aren't ideal for the pegged flat pedal side. I ended up buying a new pair of SPD shoes with softer soles so that they would grip better on the flat-pedal side. Some of the more comfortable touring shoes will serve this purpose... I ended up buying some Tomasso shoes that don't have a lot of tread, and have softer walking soles, and they're the perfect combo for using both sides. Overall, I'm really impressed with these for the price. They work exactly as I expected, and the cost was within anyone's budget. Why spend over $100 for some of these types of pedals when you can get these for a fraction of that?
