Sturdy sweep 90. Don’t need to use 1/2” tap.
The price for a Jandy sweep 90 without the 1/2” tap was considerably more than this one that I used for a high air bleed and thermometer.

Needed an oriface with which to install a chlorine/chemical feeder without a saddle connector. Worked well, nice "sweep" vs 90 degree elbow.
