The prismacolor black is a good pencil
I've used the prismacolor black and the fabric of still black and I prefer the prismacolor. It seems darker to me. Granted anytime I use black I need to use several layers of it because every time I go over it again after it maybe sits a day then I get a little darker layer.

I own many different brands of colored pencils. Prismacolor is the easiest to blend and incorporate into the image. It’s great to have single colors available so you do not have to buy a complete set to replace one color.
