Bought this for my grandpa who served in the Navy. It looks amazing with the other ship themed decor. It’s completely functional.

Y’all I have a boy obsessed with ships and this blew his mind. Looks and feels so real, it’s heavy too and the case feels so legitimate! A+

The beauty of this spyglass is unmatched for the price. It is an absolutely GORGEOUS display piece. However, logistically it doesn't "work" right out of the box. We had to disassemble it and put it back together again like a puzzle to get it to be "usable" like a spyglass would be and it still wasn't super perceptible. Also I had to get a replacement because the first one I got was broken. It had pieces rattling around inside and we hoped that was why it was hard to get a good view out of the thing. It sadly was not that as the replacement also had the imperceptible view. So if you're looking for something magnificent to display on a shelf or table, this is definitely worth it! However, if you, like pretty much everyone, would want to immediately put this up to your eye to see how far away you could see with it, and would be incredibly disappointed to find out the answer was "the inside of your eyelid" then maybe look for a different one.

This is really cool and you can focus it yourself. Great gift or keeping for yourself. It came with a faux leather case with tooling on it. Spy glass is antique brass and faux leather. It doesn't look cheap. I'm pleased with my order.

Is just a very expensive toy. You will have to use your imagination I guess. Maybe can use it as a decoration on their dresser? Horribly disappointed

From the hand-tooled look of the case to the engraved brass casing, this could have been another cheesy copy of movie prop - but it wasn't. This was a Christmas present for my 12-year-old who is a big fan of pirates and adventure, and this telescope didn't disappoint. From the moment he opened it, it was clear this item was a cut above. For the price, I wasn't expecting the full, brass construction and appointments. Full size and weight, it works like the real-life telescope it is. I am so glad I ordered this as he has taken it all over and proudly reported his discoveries. I expect this will be the case for years to come.

Seller should add instructions how to focus it. I struggled loads and was planning to return but then tried to Google and found online on other website. It’s easy when you know exactly how to do it. Apart that very nice product!

As there is no instructions, I’m not sure how to focus the lens properly. So it’s very difficult to see out of. Shame as it looks like it’s made really well. With no instructions it makes it really difficult to understand how to use it
