Higher quality than original
These are thick material (I was surprised, thicker than the original canvas). Better than the original that came with the umbrella. I keep a cover on it, so it has not faded at all (not sure how it would do in the sun year round without a cover). I highly recommend, and have bought additional!

Vibrant Blue matches the color in the photo
My patio is full sun. I've rejected the idea of spending hundreds of dollars for a patio umbrella that will resist fading. Instead I accept the fact that within a season or two the brilliant color will fade to a pastel shadow of its initial glory, and if I want color again, I buy a new canopy. It's nice to be able to change colors every couple of years, and removing the old canopy and installing the new one is a simple task, although you do want a tight fit, and the tighter the fit, the harder it is to stretch the fabric enought to insert the spoke end into the canopy pocket. This was a very tight fit, which, overall, to me was a big positive.

Apparently, I am a slow learner because I have been buying replacement poles just to get the umbrella cover part. So my pleasure in this item is colored by my relief at not having to buy a heavy costly pole, usually requiring me to drive to the store. This came in a small light package and fit almost perfectly - an inch off center maybe for the top finial piece. Will definitely buy it again. It does fade - but so did all the others I have bought. If they made a slightly more expensive one with claims that it fades slower, I might try it.

Perfect replacement
Our patio umbrella was fine, but the material was old and shabby. This was the perfect price and perfect replacement. The grommet on the top was too small for our frame, but all we had to do was take it off, cut a1/3" off and then put the cap back on. I read other reviews that said it faded over time, so we sprayed it with a scotch guard before setting it in the sun. That should either prevent or slow down any fading. It's a beautiful color and we absolutely love it!

Really beautiful
This umbrella cover fit well, was easy to put on my existing umbrella, and brightened my whole yard! It is bright blue (was) and has faded after a season. I will probably get a new one this year. I wouldn't expect that color to keep it's vibrance in direct sun for more than a year, and the cost was very reasonable. The actual cover material has held up very well and would not need to be replaced for any reason other than fading.
