I was hesitant about purchasing this bag at first because I wasn't sure it would appear professional. I was wrong its perfect! It looks professional, stays clean and has a perfect assortment of pockets inside and out. Its sturdy but not too heavy even when I have all my stuff loaded in. Straps are the perfect length to place over my shoulder and they stay in place. I haven't used it for the laptop or used the charge port and probably wont. My main intention was to cart my daily needs to and from work. Great value. I have been using it now for about 3 weeks daily.

I recently got this. I teach math at a high school. I use this bag for carrying my school stuff like carrying papers. My students work, or when I am make copies, or simply carrying school work. I used to use the a backpack but I use this now mainly because I like the style for it. I know it says that it’s for women and I’m a man but I like it. I actually got a lot of compliments of the bag when I was in the copier room from other teachers. It’s pretty heavy duty I can say that. I carried a lot of papers in this bag and it held up very well. I thought it was going to break but it’s made out of good material I guess which is good. I don’t really use the power pass through that much but it can be useful. I wish maybe it came with a hole for a power cord to go through. I sometimes charge the laptop inside. It would look really cool if the cord can come out from the bottom or something but it’s okay. It has many pockets inside. I have everything organized. At first I threw all my pens, markers, pencils and scissors inside without using the pockets mainly because I was lazy but I do use them. I don’t use everything because there is a lot of pockets. But hey I might use them one day but I filled out everything that I use now. Overall I like it and I recommend it.

I ordered the grey. I wanted it to be mostly professional and versatile, but more importantly to hold all of my work stuff in an organized manner. It does that in spades! For the price point, this is one heck of a steal for someone who doesn't like canvas or leather/faux leather. I expect to get a lot of use out of it.There are a bunch of well-sized interior pockets, including 2 pockets at the ends. Some zippered pockets too. One larger outer zippered pocket is perfect for documents and the like. The padded laptop compartment hold my 17-inch laptop (YUP! My company provides the wide screen with the number pad separately on the keyboard so it's very long and extremely difficult to find a bag that it fits well). This bag also has two cup-holder pockets on each interior edge. I can fit my 20-oz stainless double-walled (major brand name) container with ease. They are secured in the pockets and I love it!! I usually fill 1 with ice, and hold the other separately in the car on my commute. I love the idea of being able to put a water bottle in the other side or some other bottle (soda, iced tea, etc) and have them both secured without tipping over if I am carrying the bag. The handles feel sturdy, and are comfortable to carry on my shoulder or arm. I do wish it had a removable shoulder strap and a luggage strap for travel.My main issue with this bag is that the photos make it look like it has a rectangular opening at the top. In reality, the bottom is a lovely rectangle, but the top pinches together in an a-line, making it look more like an A shape from the bottom to top, and also a straight line across the top. The pinched top makes it a little harder to fully use the pockets on the sides of the bag to quickly access items (which I rely on for keys, glasses, etc).Update: Still LOVING this bag almost a year later. I do not use the USB port for any charging purposes but I like that it's an option. It does not get in the way of anything and is a visual reminder of where I put my glasses/keys/etc. The pockets inside and outside continue to be perfect. I am satisfied and highly recommend this bag.

I work in a school district, and I bought this bag. IT IS PERFECT, everything fits in it, it has many compartments.

Perfect Tote for my wife, who is a teacher, and needs to carry many items back and forth to work. Very lightweight, but sturdy.

I had to get a new teaching tote at the last minute. My first impression wasn't good. I don't like the weird charging port or that the extra strap pad isn't attached to the strap. The inside lining material feels kind of cheap, but I kept it because I was desperate. I have been carrying this and living out of it for 4 weeks now, and I like it more everyday. The pockets are great- the different kinds exactly in the number needed. It doesn't hurt my shoulder, doesn't tip over easily, keeps its shape well, and I really like the outside material. I would definitely buy this bag again and the only things I would change are (1) a more fun pattern for the outside and (2) not having the charging hole. But honestly, neither of these things actually bother me at all.

I purchased a different bag a few months prior and loved it... The color, the fabric, everything except that it wasn't big enough for all of my work day items.I found this bag and love it! It is definitely big enough for two notebooks, 2 large legal pads, a planner, a bottle of water, 30 or so pens in the side pocket, my mouse pad, mouse, charger, wireless keyboard, tons of sticky notes, a little bag stuffed full of items and finally, my laptop!It is perfect for an on the go working away from home woman!

So the size is what I wanted and it has plenty of pockets but the padding is not there to protect your laptop or iPad. Then the bottom needs support. I will use it because I need it but if I was to advise you I would say it costs too much and is not worth the price.
