This is the ankle height version in a pack of three socks that I bought and it has developed a hole after being worn just three times. The socks are only two months old; I don't see much endurance in that. Will not buy this brand again.Having read my review Danish Endurance promptly offered a refund or replacement (which was not actually my goal in writing a negative review), but as such I have to commend their customer service and speed of follow up. Time will tell whether these socks last as long as expected.

Fantastic socks for travel/hiking. Super comfortable and you really can wear them for days (if you had to) without any smell or deterioration in effect

I bought this pack of three hiking socks following a last minute decision to walk the ridgeway over three days for some 60 miles.The longest pair were too warm for summer and my feet sweated a bit too much but I’d expect them to be great in colder weatherThe medium pair were perfect and were comfortable and blister freeThe sort pair were also very good and I interchanged with the medium pair on a daily basisOverall all very good and after twenty years abstention from hiking to wear these and smash out twenty miles a day with full packs without blisters or problems was impressive and very much due to the socksLongevity yet to be tested but I think they will do fine for a while yet.

After years of using various walking/ boot socks in steel toe-capped work boots, and suffering all manner of issues..trench foot, callouses.. I took a gamble on these, and by god I’m finally cured..They do exactly as it says on the tin..(packaging).So comfortable to wear, keep your feet perfectly cool, and no sweaty feet.. I wore these during the recent heatwave and my feet were perfect all day long,It’s as if they were made for heavy duty use, no threading caused by the toe caps..I would highly recommend these socks, so much that I’m throwing out all my older ‘walking/work’ socks and replacing them with these..they may seem a tad expensive, but once you’ve worn them for a day you’ll be glad you shelled out the extra for them..

The socks are really comfy, durable, washable, and well-made. I used them for all-day commute, work, walks, and hikes. And in this last environment didn't achieve my expectations. I went for a 60 km walk in the Welsh mountains, with a reasonable pace and goretex mid boots. It might have been the goretex and the less breathability but at the end of the hike, my feet were wet and blistered, in particular between my big toes and the second toe.Before I used to use different socks and didn't have problems with them using the same boots.

The product didn’t look like a return. I tried the small pair on first and could see my toes. My toenails are trimmed.Returned.Check the socks toe area immediately.

Have several pairs of these… great fit, warm, they stay in place… all good, best socks in that regard.However, regular and careful, not excessive, wear of one pair should not result in the socks thinning out so soon… not long before they have worn through by the looks of it… and I would expect more for the money. Isolated product fault?In this case: 5 stars for fit etc, 1 star for how long they last = 3…
