SWITCHDOCTOR Window Master Switch for 2003-2008 Mercury Grand Marquis

Simple to install… The two wiring couplers simply pull out from your old switch on the back and from the front just use your thumbs to push the old switch buttons and the old unit pops right out, then simply push the two wiring couplers onto the new switch and snap the unit into place and you’re done. Everything works perfect again and the windows roll up faster than before. I have a 2003 car and this switch worked perfect!

Works opening and closing windows it even has a back light feature but it does not have the automatic drivers side roll down feature there for I knocked off 1 star. It is a inexpensive switch so for the money I can live with it. If your looking for the automatic feature you may need to look elsewhere.

2003 Mercury Grand Marquis - more like 3 1/2 stars but the price is right and delivery was fast.I bought this in a panic when my driver side window became stuck open when the factory switch failed. The auto down feature for the driver side window doesn't work, but my power windows are back to being functional. The switches also light up bright unlike my factory switch.One thing to note is when I was testing the switch, my driver side rear window stopped working, both on the master switch and the door's own switch, not sure if it was because of the product, or the aging electronics in my vehicle. After turning the engine off and on again, and tugging on the window, it worked again, but I'll be avoiding rolling that window down from now on. The other 3 windows operate positively.**Update - Failed after 1 year**On September 12, 2021 I rolled my driver side window down and it would not roll back up. We had to cover the open window with plastic because this happened right before going overseas for a week.When I returned, I ordered a new regulator and went through the whole process of replacing that part, and when we tested it with this switch, the motor went all the way down, telling us the switch was defective. Only the driver side window switch failed; it's possible it shorted out due to being overworked by the aging window regulator, but the fact that the auto-down feature never worked is a sign of poor quality.
