Good customer service makes all the difference!
NOTE UPDATE BELOWI'm not usually a Bluetooth guy. It's yet another battery to keep track of, and it makes your phone chew through its own battery quicker as well. So for years my iPhone has gotten by with inexpensive wired Sony headphones. They have a remote that lets me control volume, playback and answer calls, so what else would I need. But lately the "inexpensive" part of that has been less true. Their price has slowly inched up until they're costing me $40 a pop. And worse, the quality has gone down so the remote stops working after 40-50 hours of use in a sweaty environment (which means I'm spending $120-$160 PER YEAR for cheap Sony headphones).About to grudgingly buy another pair, I saw these phones. At the price ($19.99 at the time I write this) I couldn't afford NOT to give them a try, especially since they claim to be sweatproof! They seem to be well-made, and they're reasonably light so they don't bug me too much sitting on my neck. Others have complained about the fact that the neckband isn't at all 'anatomical', which may be true. But it's somewhat flexible, so the weight of the batteries cause the front to sort of droop down which holds them in place for me.When you turn them on, they give you an audible status report (in a classy English accent!) about the battery state and whether or not they're connected to your phone. All function buttons are easy to find by touch, once you've figured out what's where. And miracle of miracles, they came with a set of earpieces big enough to plug my oversized ears (there are 3 sizes of earpieces, so chances are they'll fit you as well). They also came with an extra set of wire keepers to keep the earpiece wires tidy, so you're set if you somehow lose the ones already in place.Once I fitted the right size earpieces, sound was quite good. Surprisingly powerful bass...in fact, suspiciously powerful bass. They *may* be emphasizing bass somewhat, but to my ears it sounds good so I'm calling that a plus. The "Call" button can be used to answer calls as well as bring up Siri, and the mic seems to be pretty good...at least nobody's complained to me so far. When you're finished with them, it's a piece of cake to fit the earpieces into the ends of the neckband because there're magnets that cause them to snap into place when you get them in the neighborhood. All in all, they're really very good for $20ish. I see others have complained about one side going kaput, so I'll keep an eye out for that and post updates if needed.UPDATE: when i bought these a few months back, i was fully aware of their rep for faulty earpieces. i also noted that the seller seemed to be pretty attentive to customer problems. so i was willing to take a chance. well, a couple of weeks ago they started flaking out on me, so i contacted their customer service. after getting in touch with me they walked me through a couple of debugging steps to make sure there really was a problem, then agreed to provide a replacement set!If you're honest, you have to admit there's no such thing as a perfect manufacturing process, and some bad examples can get through any QC process. The real test is whether a seller will stand behind the product when something goes wrong, and soundpeats definitely stood behind their product. For these headphones, the price is right (about half what i paid for wired phones), the sound is good and customer service steps up when there's a problem.

SounPeats Q900 - Recommended!
These are great! I'm really disappointed by all the fake or paid reviews I'm seeing on Amazon, and I rely on on product reviews when making a purchase like this. The Verified Purchase label that Amazon implemented is helpful, but I hope something more can be done. Maybe having an average rating that only takes into account verified reviews? I only mention this because products like this one are everywhere, and some have hundreds or thousands of reviews that may look good at first glance.I really bought these at the price they were available...I received no free or discounted products. I've used these during about 12 to 14 workouts so far (average 30 to 45 minutes each), and around the house a few times. I have only charged these twice so far, though I'm charging them a third time right now.The good:1. The sound is far better than I expected.2. They are comfortable and easily lie around the neck. I have forgotten I had them on several times.3. The controls are solid and work well.4. They connect quickly and reliably to my phone and computer via Bluetooth.5. A voice tells you the battery level each time you turn them on ("Battery Level is...High, Medium, Low")6. Battery life has been very good.7. Well packaged, and come with a standard mini-USB cable about 3 feet long and not the 6 inch long kind that somes with some lower cost items like this. While these are much better than I expected for the price, which was under $25, they have a little room for improvement. They also look more expensive than they are. I think they will be very durable with a little care. The minor issues:1. There's a small vent hole on the back side of the ear buds, which can catch wind and make a slight whistle sounds. I don't hear it if music is playing at normal volumes, but I can hear it when listening to quieter or softer music. This is never an issue indoors or when it's just a little breezy.2. The magnet system that holds the ear bud in place when not in use could be a little stronger as they can fall out of their socket areas relatively easy. This is a concern to me because the wires going to earbuds are only average gauge for a product like this. I'm concerned that the ear bud may come loose and get snagged on something when storing these or wearing them without the buds in my ears, which could lead to damage to the wires. Please note, I have not used these during any phone calls, so I don't know how well the microphone and call functions work.I recommend them.

Great headphones, until they stop working
We now own this, and the previous edition of the Q800. We also own theĀ LG Electronics Tone Pro HBS-750 Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headset - Retail Packaging - Black . The soundpeats connect very well, have excellent sound, and great battery life. They go to standby mode faster than the LG headphones do, which really gets you a lot more use out of them. I would highly recommend them for the price. They are more reliable with connection and battery than the LG are.The only complaints I had with them are: the earbuds don't stay attached to the body very well (weak magnet) and the flashing blue light when they are on is very harsh and annoying.Update: After about a month of use the left earbud shorted out. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement (which was excellent service) but now after a month or two with new ones the left earbud has shorted out again. It seems like a design flaw. I did use them a lot during that time, and I was very happy with their performance but not their longevity.Overall they are a great purchase. We have purchased the original Q800 for 2 other people as gifts.

An honest review
First of all, thanks to Amazon India for bringing this item. I have checked this product before but it was not available in any Indian E-Commerce website. Here's the perfect bluetooth headset I was searching for a long time. I am writing this review after 1 week of usage. I will post some pictures as well if required.Pros:Built quality: very good. Earplugs are comfortable and very light weight. Noise Isolation is good. You will forget anything is hanging from your neck after a few minutes of usage. Magnets at the end of the frame holds earplugs firmly.Bluetooth: pairing is seemless and very fast. Range is quite good.Sound quality: I'm no expert in this. I have used Sennheiser CX180 before. Q900's sound quality is comparable to CX180 and maybe better. Bass, Mid, Trebel are well balanced. Good for listening all kinds of music and audiobook/podcasts.Microphone: Mic is well placed. Audio are captured clearly even in noisy areas.Buttons: There are lots of button for different functions. All buttons responds promptly and easy to use.Battary: For the first time, I charged it fully and had a playback time of around 10-11Hrs before the battary depletes completely. After charging of 2-3Hrs it was fully charged. So I got what was promised in the specs.Cons:Till now I have not found any serious problem in this headset. I think if a carry case was given in the box that would have been better. It is not something you want to put it inside your backpack with ten other things.Overall it is a very good product from a reputed brand at a very reasonable price. Very fast delivery by amazon(4 days) but packaging could be better. I would absolutely recommend it.

Pros:1.Great for using in gym as it is sweat resistant.Good base quality.2.Battery lasts for two days after full charge and continuous use.3.Best bluetooth headphone under 2000.4. No issues with connectivity.5. Vibrating feature that informs you when you are getting a call.6. Gets fully charged in very less time.7. Free extra ear buds for your fit.Cons:I haven't noticed any cons for the product yet but sometimes I feel little uncomfortable wearing it cuz i have oily skin and it sticks to my neck sometimes.
