As described. this is the second I'm working on ( I bought the leaf and ladybug before).Easy to do, I finished the first one in less than 2 weeks, working about 2h per day. Great for beginners, too. Highly recomended!

Needlepoint started for me as a way to keep busy during the long pandemic winter, and I found I really enjoyed it. This kit is my third from Dimensions, and I was not disappointed in the quality of the design or the thread selection. The colors are beautiful and the thread is silky and easy to work with. I like the small size (5” x 5”), because it’s very portable and not too cumbersome to work on, even when stretched on a frame. I’m happy with the finished piece, which I put in a frame measuring 8x8, with a 5x5 mat. It will be a gift for an old friend.

I am an experienced embroidered and have done many many needlepoint kits in my life. This was the first time I used stranded embroidery cotton for a needlepoint. It is difficult to work with because it is slippery compared to wool. For this reason I think a beginner would find it frustrating. Quality was good. Almost ran out of one or two colours but overall very happy. The finished product looks great. I made this because the sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine and I wanted to stand in solidarity with all Ukrainians.
