A refreshing and different read, I loved it.

Whilst I enjoyed reading The Lilac Bus, and thought it was a good book to read if you are reading Maeve Binchy for the first time, I did feel that this book could've been put into the short story category.As a result of reading The Lilac Bus, I have ordered Light a Penny Candle and I am looking forward to reading it this summer. I am also hoping to read more of her books in the future.

It was readable but not very exciting!
