My daughter and her friends loved these wands! Very well made for the price. But I didn’t read the description closely enough and thought that they only lit up, and was surprised when they made noise too. It’s not a bad sound but just fair warning!

We bought these wands for a Harry Potter party to give as one of the favors. We mixed them in with other “real” Harry Potter wands. We honestly thought they were a little hokey when they arrived. They made a sort of generic princess sound. The other thing I didn’t like is that you can’t turn the sound off and just have the light. The light is not continuous if you hold the button. It only lasts a brief time and then you have to press the button again. However, surprisingly, the eleven year old girls at the party loved these. They ran around saying spells and pointing them at each other and did not seem to find them hokey at all. The party was in the evening so the light was bright and nice. It made a good glow. They were a huge success. I can’t speak to how well they hold up, but none broke for us at the party. For the price, I would definitely recommend.

Super cute. Kids have fun for hours. They break easy but I will buy again for the shear joy it brings them!

The kids loved them. The light up and make sounds when the button is pressed. They sre plastic but the kids dropped them, smacked them on things, threw them and poked things with them (birthday party) and did not break any of them.

This was cost effective way to have a wand for each child at a Harry Potter party. To make them all look different, I used black hot glue and added lines, etc to the wand so they looked more Harry Potter-like. The light does work to see invisible ink but the flashing makes it hard to read.

I wish you could just turn the light on and off but for the price these are a great value. Also wish you could turn the sound off. So annoying.

I ordered these to bring to a Harry Potter movie night with a large group of young kids. These wands survived many spells and duels all night long. They were durable enough not to break when being hit against trees, fences and other kids, no damage sustained and very few tears.The sound effects are loud enough for the kids to enjoy, and not so loud that the parents wanted to ask me to leave. I was surprised at how bright the light at the wand tip was, but it was perfect for after the sun went down.Would definitely recommend for a fun night for any aspiring witch or wizard.

Bought this to add to the party bag of my daughter’s Harry Potter themed party and it was a huge success!

These were a big hit for my son's 10th birthday party. Also, the lights in these work on those invisible message pens, so you can do a cool Marauders' Map with them!
