Simple
Nothing like a simple blade that holds and edge well. Nice carbon steel blade. Some people like the smaller one saying it fits their pocket better. I like the large one because it doesn't move around in my pocket.

Great knife, received the wrong color
Great folder, fairly large, the mini might be enough. They sent me the wrong color but its ok.

Cool & affordable knife
It’s easy to operate and maintain. It’s lightweight. I didn’t have to empty my pockets just to buy it.

Great blade
The picture shows what appears to be a convex primary grind. But as it comes, it has a very uneven and asymmetrical flat primary with a very thick edge. I spent quite a bit of time regrinding the blade.I have no idea why I am giving this knife 5 stars, because it doesn't deserve it. It's an unfinished knife. Oh, and I have two of these, and the blade is slightly cupped from the heat treat on both of them. But despite the flaws, or maybe because of them, this knife has a rustic charm. And it is undeniably sturdy and functional.Carbon steel folding knives are kinda rare. And for good reason. If/when the blade corrodes, it is hard to clean a folding knife. The good on this knife is you can completely take it apart with just two screws. So you can clean and/or put a patina on the entire blade, quite easily. This knife opens very easily with one hand. It's completely quiet, having no locking mechanism.Note on the steel: Steel is steel is steel. I have other carbon steel knives, but this steel is special. I don't know why, but it gets shaving sharp too easily, and it stays that way for too long. It must be magic. Under a microscope, you can see the difference. I can get any knife super sharp, but this one gets there automatically, and it stays there with minimal maintenance. The burr just comes off easy and leaves a super smooth, contiguous edge, effortlessly.IMO, the plastic versions are the most desirable. There is no need for nylon or bronze washers on the sides of the blade, like what are on virtually all modern folding knives. This keeps things really simple for reassembly, and this knife won't get tight/loose when the humidity changes. Also, the plastic is nicely textured. It doesn't feel slick, at all, even when wet or sweaty.

An odd, highly capable, working knife.
This odd knife is a strange combination of excellent materials and inexpensive construction, which makes it a very capable work knife. The blade seems cheaply cold-stamped out of 2mm thick high-carbon tool steel, crudely flat ground, and contrary to the enclosed literature given a secondary bevel rather than a convex edge, which was easily corrected in about 15 minutes with wet-dry sandpaper laid on an old mousepad. It holds an excellent edge. The handle scales are a good, long, comfortable size, and seem very durable and utilitarian; they can also be very easily removed entirely to give the knife a thorough cleaning, or to replace them if desired. The odd tang extension makes single-handed opening and closing very simple, and entirely eliminates the need for a spring or blade lock to make the knife safe to use for normal cutting operations; I suspect the tang also makes the hinge/scale join stronger. I really like the blade width, belly and edge curve. The handle is 5 1/8" long, while the blade is 3" long by 1" wide, and my knife weighs a very light 2.6 ounces on my digital scale. I haven't yet done anything more than re-profile the edge to a convex grind and sliced some paper with it, but can see that this will make a strong and versatile camp knife, even with the odd tang appendage sticking out. I'm looking forward to putting it to work.

Great for 20 bucks
Nice piece of steel. Came very sharp. The grind is very...rustic. It’s about what I was expecting. The friction fold is pretty interesting. It works, but I’d be afraid to carry it in my pocket for fear it might unfold partially and I’d essentially have a razor blade loose in my pocket. I’d also be afraid that with repeated use or heavy use the flexible plastic scales would fail and the knife would break. But for all my fears I’ve tested it with some light carving and other tasks and it seems fine. The edge retention isn’t really great IMO.You can get a more practical folder in the 20$ range but the steel would be garbage. This is a neat knife. I like it

Very sharp and sturdy, lots of character.
This is the only knife I have found so far which rivals my Opinel #8 for sharpness, and it seems considerably more robust. I really only bought it to have something new to make a custom handle for, which I did, but the plastic handle was just fine as it was, honestly. If you go to the manufacturer’s website and watch the video tour of the workshop where they are made, you will be amazed that they can produce these things at such a reasonable price, given the apparent small scale of the operation. It might be a little bit too big to carry in your pocket every day, but you will probably want to keep it with you on the weekends or if you work outdoors. Also, despite the lack of any sort of spring or locking mechanism, I have had no issues with it opening in my pocket, and there seems to be no chance at all of it closing on your hand while open and in use.

Sharp and good steel
The product is light and very sharp. I have used it for mainly camping and cutting up food during cook prep and eating. It holds an edge and with it being high carbon it does pick up a real nice patina. Right out of the box and have not sharpened it yet. I carry it in my pocket but as an everyday carry I would get the MINI Peasant because this one is just a bit big to me for everyday Levi pocket carry.
