Great planner
Over many years I’ve tried (and failed) using many different planners, even bullet journalling but they never quite met my needs. This planner is the one that has come the closest. I like the look, feel, sturdiness of it. It was a bit pricey for me and I had to really consider this when buying it, however I appreciate that it’s produced by a small business so I’m happy to support that.Aspects I love:The colourGraphics are clearQuality paperExplanation of how to use it (should you wish to do that)Self-care assessmentsDesign your ideal routineYear at a glanceMonthly intentions/reviewDaily pagesThe month at a glance are my favourite pages and work well for tracking habits.Things I would tweak…Order of pages - if I could, I would change the order or would like the flexibility to change them myself, which you can’t currently do due to the binding.I like to look at the monthly intentions/ review on a daily basis. Currently all the monthly reviews are together and then all the daily pages come after that. I feel that it would be better served not in one block for all of the 12 months together but to exist between the daily pages. Eg. 31 daily pages and then the monthly review saving me having to flip through the pages all the time. The other slightly frustrating thing is that there are no tabs / dividers to find pages easily so although it’s not exactly taxing, it would make it more enjoyable to use. I’ve just stuck post-it notes in but they will get ‘tatty’ over time. Some pages would benefit from being one-sided, like the first part of the planner, then if you don’t like some of the pages you can take them out without loosing other content. I’ve just glued them together.I feel like the 4 self-care pages at the beginning are repeating the same things & in my opinion are unnecessary.I dislike the structure of the goal setting page - it would be better to have space for free flow writing as opposed to tiny boxes with limited space.Saying that, a planner is never going to be perfect or work well for everyone. It’s a great planner in general and I would recommend it. It is lovely to use - it could just do with a few tweaks in my opinion to make it a bit more user friendly.

Do I like it? NO! I LOVE IT!
This is the 2nd item I am purchasing from Simple Self. I have been using the smaller version for almost 2 month now and I feel like I am ready for bigger intentions. I don’t usually write reviews to be honest but since I love Simple Self products I couldn’t help but sharing my experience with Amazon community. Some of the key factors I adore here:• Doesn’t have the dates attached to weekdays (not a calendar) like many other planners which, in fact, makes it more flexible to use.• This planner is worth the price because you can tell a lot of thought went into the design: it is made in the US, it uses high-quality sustainable materials (ex: linen cover and thick paper), as well as I love supporting small businesses.• Monthly reflection section is something most planners out there are missing yet this one has and I do think it might have something to do with the brand itself: most countries don’t have the mentality to math your goals to check whether you are on the right path or not. Love it!• Water intake tracking – this is crucial to me because I need to drink as much water as possible as it helps to keep my skin fresh.• Breakfast, lunch and dinner tracking which is also important because it helps to keep in mind not to overeat heavy food and feel exhausted at the end of the day.• Gratitude section is hugely beneficial to me as I prime for a minute every single morning and this would allow me to take notes of the most important aspects of my daily priming session.• Plenty of space to paste some favorite stickers and make the pages brighter.P.S.: This planner is something I consider getting as a gift for one of my best friends because she just had her 2nd baby and she once mentioned she was struggling with time-management and eating habits, and I do believe this is going to be beneficial for her personal growth to start tracking her daily and weekly habits in order to get in the same mental and physical shape as she was before the baby.

Really Love It!
So far I really love this planner. It is more geared to my personal growth than a work type planner, but for now that’s what I am needing the most help with anyway. The layout is beautiful, and the guided prompts for goal setting is helpful. As others have mentioned, the front goal pages can be repetitive, however I felt like that let the more important items rise to the top of my list. Two things that could improve this would adding a bookmark or tabs to flip between the monthly and weekly sections, as well as a cover material that is easier to keep clean. Mine already looks dirty after just a few weeks.

High-quality, well-designed planner
Self-care is not something I am good at and don’t usually prioritize. But life has been overwhelming these last few months (I’m a stay-at-home mom with kids who are distance learning) so I’m trying to change that. I’ve never used anything like this before, so I can’t compare to similar products, but I just loved this planner. Since I’m new to this kind of thing, I appreciated the pages of guidance in the beginning to analyze and plan my self-care time. As I expected, there is space to write down your intentions for the month in terms of work, recreation, health, etc. There’s also a spot to review the month, which I think will be very helpful. I also really liked that so many aspects of daily self-care have been included, from charting how much sleep you’re getting to meal planning to keeping track of how much water you’ve consumed. It makes it easy to see the bigger picture. This planner packs so many useful tools into a small package! It’s perfect if you’re feeling burned out and want to take better care of yourself. Oh, and the quality is very nice, too. The pages are thick, so you can’t see your writing through the back of the page (a pet peeve of mine!)
