This product works great for monitoring the temperature of a hot tub. It allows you to set a range of expectable temperatures and triggers an alert if the temperature is higher or lower than those temperatures. The app also allows for others to see the temperature or alerts in case you are out of town when an alert is received. Very helpful in cold climates where water could freeze. My brother and myself monitor each other's hot tubs. The unit is easy to set up and connects via WIFI to your mobile device or PC. The company also stands behind their product and recently repaired mine even though it was slightly out of warranty. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this to monitor our hot tub when I’m out of town due to cold winters. Very easy to monitor on the cell phone. It actually paid for itself the first day I had left town. I was notified (according to my settings) that the temperature had fallen to 35°. I called someone to check and found that a fitting in the hot tub had broken and the water had drained out. We’re able to get the repairman there before the 6 month old tub had frozen and broken in the 10° weather. Would be great to monitor the deep freeze as well.

I installed two of these to monitor a combination walk-in cooler/freezer remotely and they work great. From the graphics interface to the quality of the product itself, superb! Only issues we have had is with the buildings WIFi system. Can’t blame Zynect for that. Batteries last about six weeks depending on the frequency of sampling’s that you set up. I can’t think of anything I would offer as an improvement other than maybe some indicator lights that It is connected to WIFi and/or low battery indicator light, both of which can be monitored within the app. Thank you Zynect for a great product.

After spending an hour on the "1 minute" instructions I am giving up and returning. Had such high hopes for an American-made product. Product seems solid - but the connection procedure, iPhone app, and getting it to stay connected either to WiFi or the bluetooth is very hard. I rebooted phone 2-3 times, deleted then readied the app, rebooted the device with the magnet maybe 5 times. I give up and sadly will look for something else, probably from Asia, that works.

I bought the Zynect Thermote Wireless Remote Temperature Sensor to monitor our outdoor hot tub. I have been looking for years for a temperature monitor for our hot tub because we have experienced outage problems. I have purchased and used several monitors that included a module for keeping track, but you had to be home to use it. I was looking for a WIFI enabled monitor and could not find one that would allow me to monitor the operation from anywhere in the world basically. I found this Zynect monitor through an internet search. This unit was designed for and intended for agricultural use and has several other environmental monitoring devices. But it has worked flawlessly and continually for almost three months now! It records readings at a preset number of times per unit of time, saves the recordings, and displays them in graphical form on a chart on the monitor module. Fantastic and I highly recommend this!

Bought 9 months ago. Has been funky to keep it operational. Bought it so I could monitor my hot tub temperature while away. Finally just quit working. The unit really isn’t designed to be emerged in the water. I just bought an inkbird wifi and wireless pool thermometer. I will see if it last longer. Inkbird does not have temperature range notification but if I check it every day I am gone I will know if the hot tub quit working.

This product has been great for monitoring our pool temp. With the graphing over an hour, day, or week I am able to see the rise and fall in temperature and pre-heat the pool perfectly. Also nice to know the temperature when I am away from the house so I can have someone at home kick the heater on in time to swim that night.I did have a little issue and I emailed the company directly. I had an email back on 4th of July weekend in less than a half day and a replacement early the next week. Much appreciated!!! Thank you for all of your help!!!

The product is very good quality and well packaged. We did struggle with the initial set up and I would suggest that this may not be easy for someone who is not familiar with internet protocols and ports. Very good product overall.
