I purchased these specifically for a seitan recipe and so far they have been wonderful. They had an interesting flavor to it and protein to boot. I have to say the pricing is right for the amount you receive.One thing I wonder about is the fact that these are fortified. They add vitamins to them and I am unsure why, though I do not think it affects the flavor. Perhaps it's like flour and these vitamins and minerals are removed during the process so they add them back in.

It was fine but not as good as the Anthony's that I have been buying. I thought I would try it because it was a little cheaper but the flavor wasn't as rich and was just a little different.

I really liked the flavor of this brand of nutritional yeast (nootch). On its own, it tastes more nutty.I ate a tablespoon of it dry, which I wouldn't recommend, but it tasted a lot like peanut butter, which I haven't experienced with other brands.In soups or gravy, however, it tastes very similar to other brands, more on the cheesy side. I guess it's the difference between dry and dissolved or hot versus room temperature. I'm neither a chef not a chemist.Anyway, it's flaky, bright yellow, looks like nootch and acts like nootch. Therefore, it must be a nootch!I would buy it again. I've already bought it again. You should buy it and but it again, because I like bossing people around.

I've been using this brand of nutritional flakes for a couple years now, after having tried many other brands and finding them only so-so. This brand is perfect for me - the perfect amount of cheesy flavor and size and texture of the flakes.

We recently went "Ornish" and yeast flakes figure heavily in our diet. These are super tasty and fresh. The only thing I don't like about this product is the packaging. The bag has a ziplock-type bag but it doesn't work. I thought I'd gotten one bad bag, but no. I've ordered twice now and the bag zip does not work. I end up having to use a chip-clip to close the bag. Other than that minor complaint, I really like this product.

It is a lighter color than other yeast I have bought, and has a very weak flavor.I recommend spending $2 more and getting a higher quality one.

Nooch prices tend to vary based on product. This one is great value for money, tastes great, and has good protein and B12 content.

Can't believe I'm just discovering this stuff - it's yummy, you can use it on anything, and the health benefits of lower sodium and lots of B vitamins are great.

I don’t know why but I feel like this is my favourite tasting brand. It’s definitely less expensive than the brand I used to buy. Super tasty super healthy.

It's ok but the taste is a little off compared to other brands I've had. It doesn't have a strong cheesy flavour - it's mild and almost a little sweet.
