I received this item in a small white box. My first impression is that it was a bit heavier than I thought it would be. I don't drink that much wine, but sometimes when I have friends over we get a bottle to share. Once we purchased a bottle, got back to my apartment, and realized I have no corkscrew. We struggled and struggled with the cork in the bottle to no avail.Determined not to repeat this experience, I jumped at the chance to snag this. Now, as I've already previously mentioned, I don't often drink wine by myself. So this is going to work perfectly for the occasional use. It's compact, sturdy, and I could easily even take this camping. I'm a minimalist when it comes to extra kitchen supplies, we don't even own a microwave, so I'm super picky about having too many small things like this cluttering up my cabinets. This is a very attractive little opener that fits nicely in my pocket. It's definitely a must have for parties or camping. The design conforms to my hand and has a very solid feel to it. It definitely feels like a well built kitchen tool that's made to last. Cheap corkscrew. The pull of the cork is not consistent and even but it works. I like the double-lever/wing design better.

This is a pretty standard corkscrew. I was able to effectively open a bottle of wine, and drink the opened wine. Nothing to special but it gets the job done, nice color. My only gripe was with the shipping, it arrived in a small box that was pretty beat up.
