Lightweight, well-balanced 6-inch ceramic knife, nice action on soft-skinned produce like banana flesh, zucchinis, peaches, berries, pears; star fruit, mangoes but not the rind and avocadoes but not the rind. works well on slicing raw fish, and peeled shrimp, some meats, and it was fun cutting hot dogs for beanie-wienie -- you get the idea. Don't overwork the blade on hard skins and rinds or hard cheeses or God forbid, bones, and it will last you for a good while. Chop/slice on a cutting board or mat, or even a paper plate -- not your granite counter.

My first ceramic knife, bought at the instruction of my cook book, and I'm just Super Impressed with it.If you're unaware, this is a tool best used on vegetables. It's So crazy SHARP! And the grippy handle is the best. Prep is exponentially easier with this tool. It washes quickly as well. I've been hand washing it since I use it daily, and I'm still surprised that it hasn't started staining or anything. Every time I work with carrots it seems like they will, then they wash right off.This one knife has me totally converted.Highly Recommended

I love ceramic knives and this one has lived up to my expectations. I liked it so well especially at the price that I ordered 3 more, another one for me, one for my sister and one for my Daughter-in-law. I like the shape, with the blade coming down below the handle which makes it good for chopping. I haven't found anything about it that I don't like. Now I will see how well it holds up to use.

After about 3 months of minor usage this knife became extremely dull and was almost totally useless. It was always well taken care of and always stayed in it's protective sheath. There were no micro-nicks on the blade. I've had other ceramic knives before, but never like this one. It could not even be sharpened with a diamond stone. Complete crap. I now use it to spread butter. This manufacturer should go back to the drawing board, hire a real ceramic engineer, or better yet, go into another line of work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!

I like these features:1. Sharpness is more than adequate with far lower price than Kyocera.2. Unlike others, this one is pointy on both tips so more versatile for my use.3. Protective plastic cover is a must.

All I can say is excellent!!! The blade continues to perform effortlessly. Be cautious when cutting because the blade is truly sharp. Now this is how a knife should cut.

This is my third knife I'm buying from this seller. Dropped one on the floor and it broker. Need to be careful with ceramic knife. I also got one for a gift.It is sharp. Bigger than I thought but turned out to work even better than I thought.

It slices clean through tomatoes, potatoes, bread, because it is not serrated. I had to learn to use it. Did't like it at first but now I do. Customer service from this seller is excellent ...5 star service.
