Where are the Boston valves
I had this exact model of kayak but from another brand, so I decided to get this one when I moved, but it hasn't turned out well.First the good: it's a very light and portable kayak, it does the job in that sense. It's not great at cutting through the water, and it's not very fast, but it's quite good and world very well for the price. The bad: it doesn't have Boston valves, my past kayak had them, but this one has jumbo double lock valves. This makes it much more tedious and annoying to inflate and especially deflate. Also, the holes in the outer layer don't align properly with the valves, which is an extra nightmare. These same holes let water into the inside of the other layer, creating some drag in the water. Finally, the carry bag is garbage, it's too small and seems very flimsy.I used this kayak once and I decided to return it, that's how much of a chore I found the inflating and deflating process.

Not nearly as good as I’d hoped for the price.
In my opinion this is over priced for what it is. We started off with Intex challengers, which were very good (when they didn’t leak), but because I’d wanted a sit on as opposed to a sit in so I decided to try this kayak. We haven’t got it on the water yet but already we’re seeing issues. Valves! A large version of the kind you’d find on a rubber ring which means deflating is much slow. Come on designers! Boston values please - it says they’re already on the two man. By the time you’ve bought the oar and pump it’s also 3x the price of our previous boat ....but it surely isn’t 3x the quality. It’s carrying net bag is rubbish so we ditched that straight away and have used a better bag we already had. Two points of note. It comes with a pretty scary health warning, that we sadly missed, and we needed to do some hefty fiddling with the inner tubes to get the valves to line up with the holes. One inner tube was completely twisted and had to be totally reseated.Pluses - reparable/replaceable inner tubes and a comfy seat.

Serious design issues in my opinion.
Inflates easily with a decent pump, light to carry, backrest is decent. It is difficult to deflate.Carry bag too small, once out it's not going back in.Has design flaws, the open back and holes where the valves come through mean that the kayak takes on water as soon as you sit in it.It's ok for fun on the beach if you are planning on being in and out of the water and getting wet.Useless for rivers or canals if you are planning on keeping your backside dry and travelling any distance done bother with this.I would return but cant be bothered with the hassle. I'll keep it for fun at the beach. Wish I'd bought an inflatable SUP with backrest instead.

overall it looks better than it works.
It was quite hard getting valves out to inflate. nice look but dissapointing as it does let a fair amount of water in. so i bought a wetsuit( as my bum got damp). use for summer only. i moved seat forward and used extra velcro to secure it. handy straps for securing bagage. it could do with a painter. the velcro for oars were pretty ineffective.

Good but the bag needs to be much bigger
Needs a better bag as once it’s out of there it’s really difficult to get back in

Love it. better than I expected.
This is a fabulous inflatable. very well made and sturdy as they come. It included a carry bag and an air pressure gauge, repair patches & glue. In case you never noticed but it has a well thought of, clear bottom front, where the bow rises, helps to avoid the odd bit of flotsam and hidden dangers. The seat is strong and adjustable for, leg length. Also has velcro strap to secure your paddle when not in use, and bungee strapping for a small bag. It also has a stabilising fin, not heavy at all but is double skinned so can take a ding with no worries. It takes about 10 mins to inflate and prepare.

for an inflatable it has a good solid feel
Very please with this, for an inflatable it has a good solid feel, very stable and quick and easy to inflate with the sevylor pump. Used so far on beach and in sheltered bay. Rather slow and takes a bit more effort to paddle than rigid kayak, but nothing to worry about. Do not use in wind! Only problem I have had so far is that one of the valves does not line up with the hole in the outer lining, so difficult to deflate , hence the 4stars but other than this it is great. Transport is a dream! Roll it up and put it in the boot! I abandoned the bag and put two luggage belts round it, makes it easy to carry. Would recommend, just do not use in strong or offshore winds.
