Drain Strain Replacement Baskets: 6-Pack, Gray, small, BSK 006

I have used these since they were sold!I am a petite woman and just don’t have the long harms to take apart the drain under the sink. I tried to economize by washing the Drain Strain baskets, but decided the baskets are so inexpensive, it just made sense to put in a new one. They really work!!

Love the Drain Strain... it's really helped keep my bathroom drain, clean and clear. All it takes is to clean out the strainer basket whenever it clogs up. A basket lasts a long time but eventually, it needs to be replaced. With these replacement baskets, the process is fast and easy. I'd much rather use the drain strain then try and snake out my sink, which never worked... or use a plunger, which always made things worse and then required a plumber to come in and do it right. Since buying the Drain Strain, haven't needed a snake, plunger or plumber.

We like the strainers because they are very good at catching particles before they clog up the drain. But they are very tricky to clean & they need to be cleaned frequently. They should be disposable but they are way too expensive to be thrown out when the are full (which doesn't take long).

easy to replace the strainers. they match the original strainer.the strainer collects a of of hair for my family brushes their hair in front of the sink.since I had new plumbing installed I wanted to protect the lines.Shocked it works so well. However, and no fault of the strainer the drain stopper does look like its not"normal". It does not look bad and house guests have not said anything.I wish these strainers were cheaper since I need to replace every month.

Have to use pliers to get it out.

These are fantastic for when the baskets get too hard to clean out. Its really a fair price for not having to clean out the trap in the bathroom sink all the time. These arent too bad to clean out. I will take them outside and hose them out about once a month and seem to get about 6-8 months per basket before they become too hard to clean out.

This is a great product, replacement baskets are not necessary as you can twirl a cotton swab in the bottom of the dirty basket and 99% of the hair come out. You can then clean the basket with a toothbrush. I did buy replacement baskets and will replace the basket every once in a while. There is a rubber washer on the drain strain that gets moldy so I would like to see these washers come with the replacement baskets.

Great product, works very well. Not easily cleaned, so I tend to replace them, which is poor green practice.
