From the Company of Shadows

There is so much out there to know.
This is a well-written book, with lots of CIA stories and information from a by-gone era. The first half was quite interesting and informative, and I was anticipating lots of current information later in the book. But was quite disappointed. CIA is to protect our country from its enemies. During the cold war with USSR, things were quite cut and dry. Today, our enemies are quite different and quite varied: Antifa, Black Lives Matter, Misdirected US government caused by corrupt congressmen, Main Stream Media, academic professors,... General Flynn was beginning a thorough investigation into wrong-doings when he was wrongfully hammered by [the Deep State]. Who our enemies are today, which is what the CIA is supposed to be about, is a big question, one that is not answered by this book. I like Kevin Shipp, but I was hoping for something more from his book.

Courageous story
This narrative starts slowly to tell one CIA Officer's actual experience. Strangely, I was not surprised how things soured during the Bush Administration. Here is where new laws that erode The Constitution began. Why did the country cuddle up to Saudi Arabia if Bin Laden was so evil? The ugly tyranny that radical Islam seeks to install in America finds an ugly parallel with the Patriot Act and Secrecy Act. There must be much evil hidden by these unconstitutional attempts to bury the truth. This book is a start in the right direction in helping to expose these greater dangers. We the people cannot let tyrants destroy our liberty. Should be required reading for all judges and members of Congress !

This is a great book
This book was written by a CIA insider, who worked for the company for a long time. Long enough to know all of their tricks. After he left the company, his life was threatened by those with whom he used to work.Even his family was in serious danger, but he was always a step or two ahead of them.

Not a whistle blower book
I guess a gag order is a gag order. I was disappointed with this book. There wasn't anything in it that you couldn't find on line with browser search. It seemed to be more pro Cia then his video's that talked about what his family was put through. Which only a couple of pages at the end spoke about in heavy blanked out sections. I would not buy any more of his other books if they are going to be like this one. He may have put his heart and soul into it but having the Cia approve everything that was written just doesn't cut it for me. Get books that aren't censored by Cia if you want real information. Like one reviewer said, this is not a whistle blower book.

What’s missing? #SES
Why does this respected, Patriot author go right up the line; right to the edge of exposure of the SHADOWS, yet not mention #SES? What and Who is SENIOR EXECUTIVE SERVICES? #PlumBook.Great book. I first enjoyed Kevin Shipp’s lectures and Youtube channel. Disappointed that the depth of the poison is ignored.

Good read
Provides interesting insights into the everyday life of an employee of that agency. Plus some greater perspectives on what is really important in life; family, friends and love, and ways to find inner strength

A Great Read
The book is easy to read and follow. It is very understandable along with a lot of intrigue on the workings of the CIA. It's difficult to understand the treatment by the CIA of one of their officials and long time employee. His treatment by them was off the charts and some ot his co-workers, superiors and others were off the reservation.I recommend for anyone interested in how our loyal, patriotic public servants are treated when they don't adhere to a direction that is contrary to our Country.

Misleading title.
This book is crap, and a waste of money. I thought it would be a exposea of the CIA and their shady operations around the world. No just about how it treats its employees, who cares about that. Very disappointing.
