Kanewell Twin Adjustable Saddle Stool, Leather (Tall)

I'm a dental hygienist and suffer from back and neck pain from my profession. This ergonomic chair helps relieve the strain and makes an eight hour day bearable. I am delighted with the quality of this product, very comfortable and easy to transport when working in different locations. I wish I had known about them earlier as I would have bought one a long time ago.

I gave this chair a full two weeks of daily use. My longest clients during this time were 3 hours, shortest were 15 minutes. I read that you have to get "used" to it...well I never did. I am 5'6", approx 120lbs and fit. My legs would ache so badly after sitting for long periods of time. It's also very high and I bought the 'Medium' size. It seems this is standard across saddle stools, but I've had to raise my treatment table significantly in order to reach my clients without bending over. This is inconvenient for them and me. I thought the split saddle would help relieve pressure but mine is not as split as the photo, I have not noticed less back or shoulder pain since using it and I have noticed greater soreness and discomfort. Returning it and trying a less expensive, cushier saddle seat.

It's a good solid ergonomic chair; didn't work for me with my multiple back issues. Back Designs company is exceptionally pleasant to deal with and will help you with any problems you may have.

Well lets start out by saying, this is no Salli stool, but it also doesn't cost nearly as much. I am a dental hygienist so I need something that keeps my spine in correct posture. I am 6"1, so I got the tall. Being male, I find that the fact the seat saddles can be adjustable is nice. The quality is OK, believe me you can feel it when you need to adjust the tilt or separate the different sides of seat it doesn't have a polished feel. I wish it had more cushion... it hits you in your sit bones which is what this style is suppose to do, but it feels a little aggressive. The manufacture will describe it as "firm" but its different than that. It feels a little pointy at first, if i shimmy to the back of the seat it feels better. After about 1-2 patients it feels like my body forms to the seat if thats possible. It takes time to get use to. My lower back (which was my biggest issue) has improved, and I feel more energy by the end of the day because my posture has improved. Over all for the price I'm happy.
