Nice, bright gold.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this paint to go over a gold which I’d already used to refresh my postbox lettering but which had dried more of a matt bronze as opposed to a fresh, bright gold. This paint was a little more expensive but did the job beautifully, and has given me the exact finish I was hoping for. My postbox actually looks better than it did when I purchased it new! It’s only been painted for a few weeks, but we’ve had some dreadful weather and it’s still looking super. I would definitely recommend this paint.

Very good quality paint
I used this to paint some dried seed heads silver to add to a Xmas foliage display. It covered well and was very easy to apply. The paint washed out of the brush very easily.

Difficult to mix and very thin
The gold paint was extremely difficult to mix to an even consistency using a stirring stick, however, vigorously shaking the pot did help but not perfect. Applied to sealed walnut engraving with two coats, results were disappointing with lots of patchy areas.

It is fine
However, I needed to apply a number of coats on the chair frame. I find the colour bright.

Love this gold leaf paint
I didn't know gold leaf was available in a paint form. This is great. I use it to embellish my resin items and other crafts. There is a lot of paint in this set. It dries in an hour or so and is so shimmery. Just a lovely finishing touch to any project.

Look's good on my 3D prints. Silver was just right, gold was a little clumpy.
The silver was a perfect consistency right out of the jar, the gold however was a bit thick and clumpy and required a bit more prep work. In the end, thicker is better than thinner as it's easier to fix. Did some quick test paints on a couple of my 3D prints, both look amazing even over a completely black print the color and shin come through really nicely.I don't do a ton of painting and am seriously amateur hour at it, but certainly would purchase again. (might purchase the bronze too to complete my collection).

Rich Golden Yellow
I painted this wooden fleur de lis and I only needed one coat to look great! The paint is thick, but I didn't have any trouble with it. I really liked the color of this, as it is a more rich yellow gold than most paints that look washed out, dull, or pale. I would recommend this paint if this was the color you were looking for!

Big Fan
I am a big fan of this product but if you’re going to buy it there are a few things you need to know. The first batch I bought I noticed it would not clean up in water but it would clean up in paint thinner, which means it was an oil-based product. That did not bother me because I was extremely impressed by how close it looked too real silver. The last batch I bought would not clean up in paint thinner but cleans up in water telling me it’s a water-based product which it is advertised as. When you apply the water-based product it is a bluish gray colored not silver but does dry silver color. It still looks nice but it is not as shiny as the oil-based product. I would like to get a hold of the manufacturer (Vgseba) but there is no email address or regular address anywhere on the Internet. Also, I strongly recommend in investing in a spray gun, you can get a good one for $30 on Amazon and you will notice a very big difference using it rather than a brush. The finish is a lot smoother and does a better job of imitating real silver, but will consume more of the paint. I purchased the product because I am a novice with silver inlaying and was not satisfied with my results but I am quite happy with this product meeting all my expectations in more. I also wish it would come in larger sizes. If you’re looking for a product that imitates real silver I believe you will be satisfied with this product. If the distributor or any other party that could reach the manufacturer. I would like to tell them about their product. There seems to be a dislike for the water-based version and because I’ve had both I can verify that the oil-based version is a lot better product and will produce more satisfied customers.
