My son loves this monkey. I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness and quality. My 2nd grader was having a difficult time with the transition back to in-classroom schooling after the school buildings opened back up in April 2021. He was having outbursts in class and disturbing other students. The teachers aren't allowed to provide physical comfort (he responds to hugs or pats on the back) so I bought him the Warmkins weighted monkey for him to have at school when he needed some comfort. It worked! I was getting emails and phone calls 2-3 times per week from teachers and/or the school counselor. After I purchased the monkey, zero phone calls at all and only good emails telling me how well he was doing. I consider my money well spent on this item!! I hope it works for you for whatever reason you're considering buying this. Also, the weight isn't too much for my 2nd grader. He's able to carry it around just fine.

This monkey saved our lives as new parents. Our daughter refused to sleep in her crib because everyone I set her down she would scream because she couldn't feel my body heat. So when she was big enough to move on her own and it was safe enough to we put Hugo on next to her and she felt his body heat. She was sleep trained within a week! From than on this little guy has saved our sanity. She sleeps with him every night and drag him around. When we pull him out of her crib her face seriously LIGHTS UP! She watched showed with him and he even helped balance her to get her walking.!!! He is a miracle!! Thank you thank you for the amazing product! Best investment ever!

Hugo is wonderful! He’s very cuddly, and I like how he is weighted. He feels nice and heavy in my hands, but not too heavy! I love how he feels when he is heated up. He works wonders for my cramps. I’ve had him over two years now and he’s held up to multiple cross country moves and many cuddle sessions. He looks almost as new as the pictures on amazon! I think he’s worth every penny.

I am a 30 year old woman who decided to purchase this instead of a reborn baby. I needed this because I was having baby fever and my 4 yr old son no longer let's me hold him as much as I want anymore. My warmkins, Gloria, is amazing. I am sort of embarrassed that I have this as an adult but she brings me so much comfort and my husband doesn't mind her either. At night my son or daughter will come into my room and ask to have Gloria sleep with one of them. I think I'll be purchasing them one as well. Worth every penny. Thank you

I had looked at this for a while but it was expensive. I finally broke down and bought it, and it is amazing. The quality is top notch. My son is autistic and he loves wearing it around his shoulders with the straps. He has always had trouble sleeping and falling asleep. I used to have to lay with him but now we heat the pouch in the microwave and monkey is nice and warm. My son loves it and falls asleep quickly snuggling his warm monkey. It's awesome! Such a great purchase.

For an autistic person who loves primates, this is a good thing.Hugo even fits adults.You can take his little beanbag out and use him as a backpack if you so wish.You can just wrap him around you, if you enjoy that feeling.You can put a tiney drop of essential oil on the beanbag and heat it up.I put cinnamon oil on it, because I love cinnamon.You can also freeze/cool the beanbag if you wish.This monkey is slaya!!!

Hugo is such a great product! It is a perfect weight and size to make you feel warm and FUZZY :) The beads are removable and warm up nice in the microwave. The handle on the product makes it quick and easy to carry anywhere you go. The zipper in the bag that hold that beads is also a great space for holding other things. I thought the material was super soft. Overall , this is a great product for kids and adults !!

I originally loved this monkey but discovered this morning that it could have been a nightmare! During the night my son had opened the zipper and pulled out the weighted bag that is full of corn kernels. My son is 2 years and 6 months old and everything goes in his mouth. It seems the threads of the weighted sack cane undone and when I went in to get my son out of bed the bed had corn kernels all in it. A definite choking hazard!I would recommend anyone buying it to open it up and inspect the sack for loose threads before giving it a younger child (or an older sensory challenged child who puts things in their mouth) dealing with sensory issues. I have this item displayed on my blog but I see I need to write a warning to inspect it first.
