This thing!
This saved my index finger! When i fish i usally fish 10hrs and this little thing fits well and works well. This saved my index finger from line sliding and hurting my index finger. Built well too!

Works as advertised
Really protects your finger when casting a three ounce plug in the cold weather.

Awesomeness
I used to burn and pop vessels in my fingers all the time. Casting long distances with 8+oz weights these finger gloves have saved me so many times. Definitely a great gift for any fisherman doubles as a trigger glove as well for archers.

Works great
Much better casting heavier lures with thicker braid than others I’ve tried

This is not a one size fits all
I purchased these for Cape Cod Canal fishing, I wear a size 13 ring, i managed to get my finger into the glove however after a bit you can see the seam separating, for the price you can beat it, I ended up using finger tape the rest of my trip.

Fits well for small/medium hands, and is durable
Note to buyer that this is a size small or medium? At work, I use medium latex or nitrile gloves, and this finger glove fits me perfectly when it's wet. It can prob stretch a little more for slightly larger fingers, but I don't know how that'd feel after a long day.It took me a while to get used to casting with this on, as you obviously lose sensitivity compared to bare skin. But once you get used to it, casting bare-skinned starts to feel dangerous haha. I use this for surf fishing and can plug all day with this or cast 2 or 3oz kastmasters on braided line continuously and not feel any pain or tenderness on my finger. I've gone on 3-4 days on the surf with this and I'm still on my 1st glove. The Velcro is holding up as well...which I didn't even think about until my buddy showed me his fr a diff mfg/brand and the threads are coming loose from the Velcro.I recommend this to anyone who plugs or continuously casts on braided line.

Gets the job done... not anymore!
It feels very thin, but the leather part that protects your finger is thick enough to well protect your index finger when casting heavy lures with braided lines. And that's all that matters. So far I used it on a week-long trip surf casting 2.5 and 3 oz. plugs on 30# braided lines for hours every day with no visible damage or wear to the leather part. With this experience and the good price for two protectors, i can recommend this product.A word of caution, though. The glove is rather small and if you have big, thick fingers it may be difficult or impossible to use it.An additional benefit is that the fish will never see your finger thanks to the camouflage fabric the glove is made of. :-)CORRECTION: After another two week-long fishing vacations the protector came apart at the seam. I took off all the stars
