You have to remember that Alexa is always on. Even when you're not using her. The battery base will last the full nine hours. Time starts as soon as you unplug. If you're not using it, Alexa still drains power because she's always on. The company was so helpful. They answered all my questions and really worked hard to make sure I'm a satisfied customer.

To bulky. Won't inside neoprene case. Makes wraps look funny. I think should have held out for the magnetic power supply. Oh well.

I don't know about 9 hours but this is a must have so you can just grab alexa and take outside to pool or garage, etc.

Stopped working after 4 uses. No longer holds battery charge. Contacted seller, waiting for a resolution.

Kinda screwed up the way it worked. I can live without any cover for Echo.

Makes it very portable now

Wonderful addition to a wonderful product! The first time we used it, it lasted six hours. Wish it was more, but the flexibility to move it around is wonderful.

When not listening to music and using the battery, If you turn the Echo "Off" by pressing the button on top and having the "Red" Ring, will this stop the battery from draining constantly ?
