Nice product, decent app but customer service ranges from great to abysmal.
I purchased 5 cameras: 3 Pan Cam v2 (don't buy v1) and 2 Outdoor wireless Cam v2. Installation, absent problems, was very simple for the indoor Pan Cam and fairly easy for the outdoor cams except for very small area to maneuver when screwing in. Plan on spending hours on the phone to iron out details and understand the app/interconnections. Good that they answer the phone relatively quickly (agents are in the Philippines). Good that (they say) that servers are located only in the US. Most speak decent English but some are heavily accented and hard to understand, Good attitudes overall, but some not properly trained (let me put you on hold for 2 minutes while I check with... turns into 10 or 15 minutes per). Charlie was exceptional. With many, I would get 3 different answers to each question---rinse and repeat.My first download of the Wyze app was corrupted and could not connect the Outdoor cams to the base station device. Tech support could not figure out what to do. I finally decided to re-download the app to my iPad (original download was to iPhone), which then would not connect with my Wyze account--I had to create a new password. The new download worked after that.Their website is not functioning for Wyze Cam Plus Lite signup via Safari. Safari can't find page. Lots of "forgetting" the app, restarting, etc. Tina, my second call attempt today of maybe more than 10 calls total, just hung up on me after 45 minutes trying to answer a simple question: How do I add my final camera of 5 to the Cam Plus free trial offer without signing up for an auto renew subscription. 3 different solutions failed. Still unresolved. Some attempts in the app lead to a paid subscription for which they asked for Apple ID but did not say they would use it for payment. This was a subscription that auto renews but appeared in the app to be the avenue to adding the camera to the free trial offer. Tina was to send an email while I was on the phone giving me instructions #4 on how to add the remaining Outdoor cam to a free trial so that it does not auto renew. I am still waiting--1.5 hours.Technically speaking, video is clear (3 choices of resolution), Night vision is good on Pan cams and OK on Outdoor cam v2. Some cameras seem to be catching motion but not in the entire viewing area. My setting to ID pets simply disappeared (though motion was still detected it was not labeled Pet). They had no trouble detecting someone walking.Pan function works well. Audio is mediocre but OK for the purpose--not loud. Battery in Outdoor Cam empties within a day if using the live feed for a camera or any of a number of other features constantly. Much better battery life if using motion tagging only and staying connected only to the Home page or Events most of the time. Getting a real description of how Events work, are saved, relate to the cloud plans is like pulling teeth. I like the app integration, once I managed to understand it. Lots of great features but...A more serious issue is occasional loss of connection between the app and the cameras even with robust wifi or plugged in. Re starting the app or forgetting the app (Mac products) or restarting the device and the phone fixed most, but some required re-synching (impossible if one is not at home). As with most brands, serious documentation is not readily available, if at all.Many settings eventually required a phone call to confirm correct understanding. The Pan Cam v2 is less trouble than the outdoor wireless cams but be sure you know what to expect before leaving home and depending on these.I really want to like these cameras, but experienced tech support (better than most others) is the weak link along with disconnect issues. 30 days to return. We'll see.

Awesome until firmware update
I bought two of these, one of them works wonderful. Upon setting up the 2nd camera it prompted for a firmware update & ever since it does absolutely nothing won't connect or redo setup. I even tried to master reset the device itself. Hopefully sending it back and swapping it out for another. Otherwise camera goes above & beyond but still playing with features. Will update review later!

Wyze Cam Pan v2 Baby Monitor Camera 1080P
Purchased this as a gift and the recipient was very pleased with the product. It was easy to connect and install and easy to use. The clarity during the day and night vison was great and to be able to rotate it easily was a great feature. And you can speak through it, too!! This camera is for more than just a baby monitor. It's a great way to keep an eye on your house when you're away on vacation.

So happy!!
We were BLINK users for so long and I decided to try this wyze pan and I'm so happy that we did! I love how it can pan around the room and has seriously great video quality unlike blink. I now want to switch out my 12 blinks for the wyze although the price coming out of my pocket may not allow me to do so. One step at a time. If you are choosing between blink and wyze. Go with wyze! Wyze records all day every day with a minimal monthly subscription. Wyze just goes off when something is in its view. If you have 5g internet at home, you should also have the lower version as that's the only confusion that happened when I tried to hook it up. I just called Verizon and they walked me through it and bam..I'm watching my dog all day long now!! Thank you Wyze!! Send me some outdoor and I'll do an honest review! ;)

Bricked itself on the firmware update
I like wyze products. I have owned them before. I bought this camera to upgrade from the stationary wyze cams I had before. I started it up and it did connect faster than the previous ones. Great. But then it wanted to install multiple firmware updates. It peppered me with prompts. Ok. I did one and it worked. I went ahead with another and it bricked. Can't use the camera until I can find time to download onto a microsd card and manual flash it. Nevermind that previous Microsoft cards I have bought for my wyze cams haven't fit. Guess we'll see if I can get it working this weekend. A lot of work just to get their product up and running.

So far so good
All these reviews with bad luck on connection to these cameras is funny to me. I know have 2 of these and have had to reconnect to only one of my cameras after a power loss. I’m happy with these inexpensive cameras.

Great camera.
The Wyze camera is excellent. The picture quality is very good. Can be grainy if not focused and a little grainy close up but at the right distance is very clear. The pan tilt works great and the camera follows cars, people , sound etc. if you have something that looks almost human In its path the AI can get confused but it works really well with real people. I’ve had different cameras that cost more and did not work as well and definitely did not have the picture or the features this one does. I’m very happy with it. Nothing is perfect even if you have millions of dollars to spend on them. Better but not perfect. These cameras are great to keep your place secure.

It failed
This is the second Wyze v2 camera that has failed after about 2 days. Code 90 Freezes up and loses power.. WYZE Customer service is issuing me a new unit directly. Very time consuming and frustratingBut WYZE customer service, especially Irish, was a tremendous help. WELL DONE… IRISH!Now hope i receive the replacement unit quickly.

Disappointing
The media could not be loaded. The app doesn’t make it easy to view events without upgrading to premium, event for recordings stored locally. When you try to play an event recording, you’re faced with a pop-up asking you to sign up for premium. Additionally, the software artificially prevents you from having back-to-back recordings without premium. This means if your camera detects motion and triggers and event recording, there’s a 5 minute cooldown timer that needs to expire before the camera will take another recording. This shouldn’t be a premium feature, this is a basic security feature people expect to have with a security camera.

Camera stopped working after 4 months
I really liked this camera, I have been using it to monitor our baby. Picture quality and night vision is amazing. However, it died after 4 months. I have been in touch with customer support, they have great service. But then again the camera just didn’t last.

I think my camera got hacked.
After few months of using this camera as baby camera. I found the picture quality is good, however this camera often discounted for no reason. The creepy thing is this camera spinning around when no one touch the app or camera. Especially at midnight, camera started to turning around. I’ve been found out this so many times. Very scary when someone behind the camera and looking at you. Customer service is useless. Whiling I’m writing this review, my camera is still turning around by itself. ( I have tuned off my camera from App, it still moving around) I’m not feeling safe about this camera.
