Black Forest Organics Individual Candy Treat Variety Pack, 80 count, 43.5-ounces (2.7 lbs)

My kids and I love this brand of gummy bears and I've been buying these gummy bears in standard bigger packages before. When I saw them online in much smaller, treat size, packages, I was very excited to get them as they were a perfect size to give to little kids.When I received them, I didn't count how many of each particular type I had (gummy bears, sour heads or lollipops), but at a glance I could say that the majority in my bag were gummy bears (not approximately equal amount of each kind). Then, when I opened gummy bears, I noticed that they were covered with dull thin coating and were smaller than in bigger bags. I tried them and they tasted like they were rolled in a little bit of flour and dry. I couldn't compare Sour Heads to my previous experience because it was my first time trying them. They tasted ok, but kind of dry. What, I think, have happened, is they either were stored wrong or I just got a bag with defective products. The expiration date was in 2017 so they were not old.

I purchased this for my son, who has a number of allergies and this is one of the few brands he can partake in. 80 pieces were included, 45 were the sour candies, only 5 were suckers (and two of these were broken). Overall this was disappointing to me as I think that is the kind he will enjoy the most. Otherwise, we love the brand, but I won't be purchasing this again.

I really like the gummy bears. In my area, I never see the other products, so this was a chance to try something different. It was nice to see organic suckers, but they​ aren't great. I usually like sour gummies, but these aren't very good tasting and are really messy.

The candy itself is good. However, about 90% of the candy in the bag was Sour Heads which of course ended up being the kind my kids do not like.

Not very great tasting but a good assortment.

These candies where a hit at the party and the parents thanked me for not filling the piñata full of junk.

We bought two of these for Halloween, but ended up eating one of them all by ourselves! Yum!!
