It's good & yes, it does the job. There are three issues that would have changed my mind before buying if I had seen them at a local Big Box store on display. The size isn't a perfect fit to carry in the same pocket with your phone, the cord is a loose fit on the Galaxy S5 and then the length of the charging cord is maybe 4" so you can't carry in separate pockets to charge. I would suggest using the original charging cord from Samsung.

I would not hesitate to buy this product again
I bought my Panther several months ago to help extend the battery life on my iphone until I could qualify for an upgrade. I used it daily and kept it with me all the time. I can't tell you how I depended on it and told others about it who were experiencing the same issues with their phone. Then quite unexpectedly about a week ago, it stopped charging my phone. The light would come on, to charge, but would then go out. How disappointed I was. BUT, I emailed Panther Creek as I had kept all their helpful emails to me and I had a response back from them within an HOUR!! They told me I would have a new Panther in the mail ASAP but just wanted to confirm my address. That was on a Monday and the next Wednesday I got my new Panther in the mail!!!! What customer service. They even sent me a postage paid return envelope to return the defective product. I understand that with every good product, sometime things go wrong...but to have a company stand behind it's product like this certainly speaks highly of not only the product but the company. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN...I LOVE IT!! I also use it to charge my ipad mini...you can't go wrong with the product or the price. A loyal customer,Diane

2 Duds in a Row...So Sad. But, customer service was really great.
I was so sad that my PantherPower Portable Battery Bank(s) did not work...yes that was plural. I ordered one (got mine for $19.99 so they must have been on sale at the time I ordered) and it did not work. I contacted the company and after the communication below they sent me a replacement. It didn't work as advertised either. The customer service was wonderful, but unfortunately the device, two of them, just did not work. I returned them both.I returned the first defective one to PantherPower in their envelope, and the second one I returned through the Amazon Return System so that I would get a prompt refund on my credit card. I really, really wanted this to work, but after 2 duds, I figured I better look elsewhere. I don't like giving a low rating when the company was so great with their customer service, but I feel other buyers should know what my actual experience was with this product...twice.Here is the correspondence with Frank from PantherPower company and myself, to show what happened, and how they handled it.:ME: "I receive my charger, immediately placed it on a charger and let it charge until all 4 lights were lit. I put my iPad on the charger, the iPad was down to about 18% at the time. I double checked that it was in fact in the 2.0 slot and it was. I checked it about an hour later and it only charged the iPad to 48% then the charger was dead so I had to recharge it?!? This is NOT what was advertised."PANTHERS REPLY: " Please do me a favor and get the PantherPower fully recharged again. Then plug in your iPad, (push the start button) and let it fully charge. Then please let me know two things: 1.) how long it took it to charge the iPad to 100% and 2.) how much charging power the indicator lights are telling you that is left in the charger?"ME: "I did as you instructed Frank. I fully charged the Panther, then hooked it up to my iPad with a battery level at 69%, pushed the on button on the Panther then monitored it every 15 minutes or so until the iPad reached 100%. It took 2 hr 48 minutes to go from 69% to 100%. I can charge it on the wall from 5% to 100% in about that same time period. Also, the Panther was now showing it was down to just two lights on or approx 50% itself."PANTHERS REPLY: "Thanks again for your help in diagnosing a problem with your PantherPower charger. I certainly appreciate your time and help with this, and once again I really apologize for the problem and frustrations!! I suspect that you are right - that this particular unit has a problem. I will send you a brand new charger ASAP, and I would like to send you an iphone5 lightning adapter if you have use for one, for all your trouble."ME: "Hi Frank, I received the replacement charger and was so excited, however I don't have good news to report. I gave it a full charge until all four lights were fully lit, then put my cell phone on the charger. My cell was at 33%. It took 5-1/2 hours to reach 99%, and then the charging unit showed it was down to 1 bar (25%). According to the advertisement it says it should charge my cell from 0 to 100% in 55 min?? And it's suppose to be able to do that multiple times on a single charge. My phone is a basic smart phone and I wasn't using it while it was charging. I can charge it from dead to full on the wall charger in half that time. I think the odds are too great for me to receive two duds in a row. I would like to return this one as well."PANTHER REPLY: "I am really sorry and perplexed to hear your report!! My personal experience showed a totally dead iPhone being charged in less than 60 minutes…and it still had over 75% of the charge left in the charger!! So…Yes, please send both chargers back in the envelope provided if they will fit."

This is probably the best $40 I've ever spent
I purchased my Panther Power on Wednesday and got it in the mail on Friday! This is probably the best $40 I've ever spent!!! I charged it up as soon as I got it in the mail and both my fiancee and I have charged our phones multiple time with it since then and today, three days later it still has 75% battery power. On top of that the Panther Power charges our phones up faster than plugging them into the wall!!! You could take the Panther Power with you on a 4 day camping trip and keep your entire family's phones charged the entire time! The Panther Power is just a little bit bigger than my phone (a Galaxy S 3) and easily fits into my purse. I used to keep a phone charger in my purse at all times so I could make sure my phone stayed charged, but that entailed having to find an electrical outlet when my phone was low on battery. Now I will never have to worry about that again!!!! I have been an Amazon prime member for a year now and purchase almost everything off of Amazon. This is the first time I have purchased a product that I was so impressed with that I felt the need to write a review. I absolutely LOVE my Panther Power and would recomend it to anybody who has a cell phone!!!!!!!

INCREDIBLE PRODUCT WITH A TERRIFIC PRICE!!!
You will not be sorry once you order your PantherPower Charger!!! I received mine in 3 days after ordering. I had no idea what to expect but was thrilled with this portable charger when it arrived! Prior to the product being received an email from Panther Creek Trading CO/Amazon w/instructions on how to power up the portable charger then step by step instructions to use the charger, which was a great help. Even if I had not read the email, it is so simple you could figure it out yourself, but the email is just another example of this company's dedication to their customers! As soon as I received the charger I plugged it in. I ran some errands, came home and it was completely charged. I plugged my phone into the device, and in no time it was fully charged. Just a few of the things I like about this product are the ability to charge two devices at the same time, it is compact, and it is easy to use. I am taking this with me to Italy - it fits nicely in my purse! Thank you PantherPower for an incredible product.
