Clairefontaine"Triomphe" Stationery Tablet, Lined, A5 (5.75" x 8.25")

These are actually rhodia notepads I was wondering why they were so cheap and they're about half the price but these are not clairefontaine triumphs

Thought this paper would be good for my Montblanc Ultra Black LeGrand Fine nib, but no. Then I thought maybe it was the fine nib, but my Lamy Safari with a Fine was also unhappy. Then I tried my Waterman Expert III with fine, but definitely not a happy pen either. So, I figured the paper must not like fine nibs. But then I tried my Montblanc ultra black classique with a medium nib, and nope . . . not happy either. So my end conclusion? The paper sucks for fountain pens, all my pens love my Rhodia tablets, but in no way shape or form will they use this paper as all it does is scratch and grex along as they write. I will be resigning this to the kitchen pad for the Bic cheapo pen notes.The review that got Rhodia tablets should consider himself lucky to have not gotten these sheets of garbage.

It’s not even the right company— and it sure isn’t the same paper. What a waste of a purchase. I’ve never had this happen before where I literally don’t even get the same brand from Amazon. Surprising.

If you use fountain pens for writing letters, you will really like and appreciate this paper. The surface is very smooth and the ink does not feather or bleed on the paper. I have bought this pad of lined paper at least a half dozen times and I have never been disappointed in the quality of the paper.

This pad is the best fountain friendly paper I've found. It works well with pretty much all varieties of ink color and wetness. You can get a matching set of envelopes and use it for personal letters.

I thought I purchased a pad of lined stationery. I received a pad of blank paper including a single sheet of paper with lines. A pack of printer paper would have served the same purpose for less money.

It's Clairefontaine paper! Smooth as silk, accepts ink beautifully and is very fountain pen friendly. I highly recommend this paper!

I like the smooth texture of the paper and the ease of writing as it has light lines.
