Love it! So neat!
Just opened the package and I am already in love, what a cool concept! I had never used a solid lotion before. I ordered the Bergamot Geranium one. The scent is so pretty. It has a light citrus-y scent to it. I was worried I wasn't going to like the scent, but I do. It's does have a more greasy-feel to it than a typical bottled lotion, which I excepted from reading reviews on solid lotion bars because of how they are made. From the comments of it being greasy I was worried I was going to hate the feeling of it, like I just poured oil on my hand. It's not bad at all! You will see a shine, but it sinks in the skin quite fast and it's not bothersome at all. It's not sticky feeling, and feels very light. The tin it comes in is so pretty, I plan to carry it around in my purse. Would make for a great gift for someone because of how cute it is. If you are like me and have never tried a solid lotion bar before I would definitely give this one a try!

A very quality product
This is the best lotion I’ve come across in a long time. The little tin it comes in is very handy to keep in your purse or next to your chair. I have a lot of skin problems and lotion is very gentle, but truly deeply moisturizes with very little product. My feet are loving it. I’m buying again right now.

Wonderful products, and real!!!
Moon Valley Organics is one of my favorite companies. I have been buying their products for years, since we first encountered them at Pike Peak marketplace. I got home and tried the lotion bar, and immediately went in search of a way to contact them and buy more. This is not a company which is new to the scene. They do not buy packaged pellets (which are more often parafin. Their products are made with herbs, honey, beeswax from their own farm. It is real, actually what they say it is, sustainably harvested.I was surprised to see them on Amazon. It works well for me because shipping to Hawaii is so expensive I usually order from them once a year and put in a good sized order. Now I can restock as needed.Their lotion bars are a little luxury at a very reasonable price. Their soaps, lip balms, salves and honeys are 2wonderful too (but I do not think they had their entire line up). They are packaged in nice little tins which means you can carry them (well, I do,) and they are nice little gifts. Make sure to get one for yourself. Their products are wonderful, and they are also terrific to support since they are doing good things with their farm, and promoting the welfare of pollinators.I have use their medicinal salves/ balms too, and they are very good. They do not make wild claims but do know their herbs, and promote them for known benefits. This is the first time I have bought their rose geranium bar, and it really smells nice, has just a hint of honey (from their genuine beeswax). I can not say enough good things about their products, and am so very happy to see that they are still around... and as long as I am here, should probably buy another because I can see these selling out, and I do not want to run out.

Not quite a "bar" but it works well, and doesn't contain nut oils
Personal Review:I'm not a person who really goes for lotions, but I had another brand's lotion bar several years ago that I liked, so I bought this one hoping for the same--a nice solid bar that I could rub between my hands to get a light coating (see additional reasons for purchase below). This bar didn't really behave the way I expected it to, but I'm satisfied and expect to purchase it again in the future (I've already purchased a second to keep at work). One would expect to be able to pop this bar out of the tin and rub it between one's hands. I've found that is not possible past the first or second use--it gets stuck to the tin and won't come out. So I have to use my finger to scoop some of the lotion off the "bar" and go from there. I live in a climate which has been very cold in the time since my first purchase of this product, so the problem is definitely NOT that it melted--it's just not very solid to begin with.I like that it soaks into my skin, but seems to leave a protective coating that lasts through at least one hand-washing, so I don't have to re-apply constantly.Review from my 12-year-old son's perspective:My mom bought this specific bar because it doesn't contain nut oils, which I'm allergic to. I HATE lotions, they make my hands itch and sometimes even hurt! I let my mom rub this bar on my hands because they were cracked and bleeding from excessive hand-washing (I have mild OCD and don't use towels, preferring to let my hands air-dry). The bar worked very well and after only a couple days my hands healed. However, I don't like the smell and wish there was an unscented version. It also made my hands itch a little, but not like lotions with nut oils in them, and it didn't make my hands hurt. If there were an unscented version, I'd probably use this more often to protect my hands.
