Great product, easily installed and works great!

Added this to my entertainment center to run 12volt LED lighting. Had heard some complaints of fan noise but mine is fairly quiet. I did notice the fan is variable speed. When more load is added the fan speeds up. My total load is only .5 amp at 12volts and when I added another 1.75 amp load = 2.25 amps the fan speed doubled but was still quiet enough i couldn't hear it 15 feet from my chair while watching TV. I do have a full 7.1 surround sound system so that probably helps me not hear the fan. I still don't think it is very loud though.I like it and it works great I have about 30 hrs of run time on power supply at 2.25 amps at 1 12volt circuit so I'm not stressing the unit at all when 30 amps is the max rating. Nice power supply for what I use it for and plan on adding 2 more amp load to it soon.Update; 10-14-2020Still working great, I added 1 more amp to the load so I'm at 3.1 amps now so 10% of max load and the fan is louder now. I have to relocate the power supply to a isolated spot so I can't hear it now. Yep the fan is getting to loud at 10% of max rated load.

Works but..doesn't come with power cord...but also wasn't described as coming with one

I bought this for a led pixel controller, it’s a very nice unit with a fan. Once powered up the led lights worked perfectly. Would recommend if you’re looking for 12v or 5v power for led lights, it also works for other products.

The media could not be loaded. These power supplies are great to mod for variable power. Rf filtering is excellent for radio receivers. They add no white noise in equipment. Add together to run amplifier. Also adding 6.0 farred capacitor to them.

This unit supplies power to my Yaesu ft2980. It will accept 12ga wire untinned. Simple voltage adjustmet to 13.8v and more. Fan runs full time and increases with current draw. Fan noise not a factor. A great deat on this 22.00 piece of equipment. No AC noise riding on DC. Add a digital ammeter to complete the project . Project box and ammeter was about another 22 dollars. 45 bucks for a metered power supply,not bad a deal and you did it yourself. Do not hesitate to purchase,

I am going to keep this short and sweet but the power supply does exactly what it is supposed to! Very easy to adjust the voltage and stable upon doing so. Definitely a solid product. The only thing I do wish is that the fan did not run unless required by temperature. Most importantly I want to point out that it definitely reserves the right to a five-star review because the company support is outstanding. Long after the purchase they still went out of their way to help correct a very small problem. I would definitely buy this product again In fact I will! Thank you for providing an excellent product at an excellent price!

Ordered two of these, one arrived and works fine. Had to send the other back as the fan was broken (the hub fell out, perhaps in shipping?). It happens, I guess. Replacement the fan doesn't run at all. Going to order some decent fans and use these for 'other' stuff like bench testing but not every day radio use as $40 saved isn't worth risking a $700 radio... The supply seems fine and does hold regulation well but as poor QC as the fans have, I question how it'll protect it's load when it does someday let the magic smoke out. Will it dump mains into the load? 20V? 40V?
