Hunting Fiends for the Ill-Equipped (The Guild Codex: Demonized Book 3)

As I said the only reason the book got 4 stars is because of the Steel & Series and Spell Weaver series those have just set the benchmark so high that anything less than that makes it difficult to give 5 stars. Don't get me wrong this book is amazing and you can't stop reading unless you have finished it and then it just leaves you with more craving.This may be a fantasy but the series is not something you come across normally, there are lots of books about magic but Demon Magic and control that's something completely new. This is what hooked me to it. Zylas and Robin will not allow you to relax for a single moment. And even when they may rest you cannot over the anticipation of what might happen next. And the best part of the book or the series is that though it can be read standalone but the story becomes much more interesting when it crossovers with The spellbound series. Sometimes it's Tori, sometimes it 's the vampire hunters or Ezra. That's what makes it so much more addictive .

Wow.. wow guys .. by all my reviews are rubbish in comparison to how I'm feeling right now!Just really simply obsessed with this series !!! I lovvvvve the dynamic between Zylas and Robin (sick names btw), it's not full throttle in your face, it's a sincere slow burn but all the more delicious when dished out in small bits 🤤😍 it's the perfect amount that most books these days completely blast through and you don't have time to get to know the characters properly, even second hand characters like Amalia etc.Side note this isn't the only series I've read from the author, but this is by far in my opinion the best 👍Though saying that I've just purchased another book of hers to help me cope with the wait for the next one 🤷😁Can't bloody wait for the next book, I think I might cry tbh 😂 plz keep releasing books like these !!! Read this series guys 😉September can't come soon enough at this point 😭♥️

I am genuinely jealous of anyone who has yet to read this book. It's THAT good. I'm on my third re-read and it only came out a week ago!If you're new to Annette Marie's writing, you're in for a treat. She just writes so well! I kind of want to keep her a secret but these books are too good not be shared with everyone.Her characters are engaging and believable - they have great personalities, they realistically struggle to navigate life, they develop and they have great interactions with other characters. You'll find yourself daydreaming and thinking about these characters long after you have finished the book. You also risk laughing out loud, crying and snorting to yourself so be prepared for your household to give you strange looks as you read it!The plot is fast paced but clearly well planned and thought out. Annette Marie is the master of plot twists and pacing and as you read you can feel the pieces of the puzzles she's cleverly laid out come together.*vague plot spoilers ahead*In terms of this book specifically... I was really looking forward to seeing how Zylas and Robin's relationship would pan out - and I was not disappointed. In fact, I got far more than I'd been hoping for! There are some incredible moments in this book - you can FEEL the uncertainty, the tension, the hope. Honestly, some of the most tender scenes I have ever read. I love romantic moments but I sometimes struggle with the smut or cliches authors tend to rely on. There is none of that here. You get ALL THE FEELS and the stomach lurching butterflies from some truly mind blowing writing. We get some questions answered but there's plenty more for Robin and her demon to try and work through together.

I can't express how much I loved this book. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I've already read it through and re-read the most awesome parts (of which there are several) about 4 times. I'm now reading the whole book again. It's only been released for 24 hours!! Annette Marie is truely a Master and I can't wait to read the last instalment of Demonized and the last 2 from the Guild Codex.

I love everything this author writes, but what I also like is that the price is kept reasonable for the kindle books and the speed with which she writes. There is nothing worse that having to wait over 12 months for a sequel, with Annette it is usually only a few months and do not worry that this affects the quality. I have read every book she has written, in fact some of them twice and I have loved every book.

Sheeesh, the author really likes to shatter my heart into tiny pieces. I had to take several breaks to pull myself together, that been said this book was amazing. So many emotions, I couldn't believe how much this book had me on the edge of my seat holding my breath. Zylas is just incredible, this has got to be my favourite series.
