Game changer for cold weather - easy to install - warm - easy to get hands in and out of
The only slight knock is the end plugs that came with it, I couldn't get to expand very well into my handle bars - factory Yeti bars - so I just used my existing end plugs instead and they worked fine. The positives far outweigh that little adjustment. I used these with a pair of the Rockbro Neoprene gloves and mountain biked when it was in the teens and 20's and once it warmed up in the pockets hands were toasty warm. Once it got into the 30's on a couple rides was able to take my gloves off and just ride with these. Plenty of room for brakes, shifters, dropper post shifter controls. Easy to get hands in and out of even with the "bonus cover" that velcro's in the openings. Side tip if transporting on a bike rack, I just took a couple bungee cords and folded the mitts forward and tightened them down with the small bungees so they wouldn't flap around on the highway. They may do fine but didn't want to risk tearing them up or tearing the thinner spot where the end plugs went in. Takes like 30 seconds and seemed to be a good preventive measure. Worked great and had no problems.

Paid a bit more fore these but they have not failed
I use these for my work commute. They perform great. They are soft, but still rigid enough to stay upright (or whatever position I place them,) and not be all floppy, which helps when inserting my hands on the go.I live in northern Montana and have used these in -18°F temps thus far. I still wear thin gloves in case I crash, but I have zero issues keeping my hands warm. There are certainly cheaper options out there, but after reading the reviews, I spent a little more for something that was sure to work. Glad I did.

Not that warm. Need an access hole to your handlebars
They’re ok. ”fleece lined” is really a stretch, honestly it’s a complete lie - there appears to be about 1/16 of an inch of “fleece” inside the quarter inch of neoprene you get for $90. They will keep your hands warmer than not having them, but anything less than 10 degrees Fahrenheit and you’ll need warm gloves or mittens underneath, which is what all of us are trying to avoid. It’s also worth noting that the version that doesn’t allow for bar ends relies on your grips having an open end so a little plug can insert into your bars, not a big deal unless you’re like me and you didn’t spend enough time studying these to realize that.

Noticeable improvement over the standard; must-have winter biking accessory
I had the standard Bar Mitts my first year winter bicycle riding (in Ohio). I also used winter cycling gloves. It was an improvement, but I knew I was going to upgrade to the Bar Mitts Extreme this winter after enjoying winter biking so much. My hands were still cold. The Extreme version made a noticeable difference for me. And the removable cuff seals made a bigger difference than I expected. I wonder if just some cuff seals on the standard model would have sufficed. But I can say that having used the standard and Extreme models of the Bar Mitts, the Extreme offers enough of a noticeable difference tomato it worth the extra cost.If you are just looking to shield the wind, and your hands aren't typically cold on rides, you can probably get away with the standard version. If like me, you are considering these because your hands are just always super cold on rides, I'd say just go for the Extreme version to start with.I still wear gloves with these for sure, but as I said they made a noticeable, if not dramatic, difference. And for those even colder days, I picked up some of the smaller-sized Zippo hand warmers, and drop them inside the Bar Mitts. With the cuff seals, it really helps to reduce that bitter cold on the days you need it.

Nice and warm
Don't quite fit the Jones H bar, but a bit of extra Velcro sorted that out. Not sure I like my hands confined on the bars either. However they do exactly what they're supposed to and keep your hands warm. Used down to -10C with some castelli neoprene gloves underneath and perfectly warm. (Unlike my feet, which were frozen!)

I can now ride painlessly in extreme cold
My hand are EXTREMELY sensitive to cold. For comfort I need gloves in temperatures starting in the 50s. Being an outdoor enthusiast this has been a very difficult problem to solve. Even with high-end mittens my hands, especially my thumbs, would become painfully numb after a short time in temperature staring in the 30s. I bought a highly reviewed pair of heated mittens. This worked well on hikes but the battery wouldn't last through a chilly 35-60 mile bike. A cycling friend lent me his Bar Mitts (not the eExtreme model) and I tried them while wearing my heated mittens on a 20 mile ride in 28 degree weather. The first positive discovery is that it was not difficult slipping my mittened hands in and operating my rapid fire shifters - the second, that I never had to turn my heater on. I bought the Extreme Bar Mitts and went for a 35mile ride with the temperature staring at 12 degrees, reaching 18 halfway through my ride, and climbing to 25 by the time I got home. It was brutally cold - a real test for my Extreme Bar Mitts. I started with unheated gloves but brought along the heated mittens. By 15 miles my hands were reaching that painful stage. The temperature was moving towards the high teens. I stopped and switched into my heated mittens, turning them on high until my hands recovered, then switched to low, got back on my bike and continued the ride. After 15 minutes I was able to turn off the heater for the remainder of the trip and the residual heat trapped in the Bar Mitts together with the temperature moving into the 20s allowed my hands to be completely comfortable for the remaining 20 miles. Given how cold it was and how terribly sensitive my hands are, I found my experience very encouraging. While I will need my heated mittens with the Extreme Bar Mitts in temperatures down in the teens, in the 20's ordinary mittens/gloves will do. For the first time I can go biking in very cold weather confident that I can keep my hands completely comfortable. I rate the Extreme Bar Mitts very high.

Essential For Riding In Cold
I normally don't ride in cold weather. but the pandemic renders other approaches to commuting unsafe, so I'm riding now. These mitts are essential for commuting in cold. They are easy to apply and remove, important because I prefer to use bike-shares for winter commuting. And they keep my hands from freezing. Well-designed and warm. Exactly as useful as advertised.

Best money I ever spent
These are excellent at keeping your hands warm in any winter conditions. I ride a fat bike all winter in Canada in temperatures ranging from -20 to 0 Celsius (-4 to 32 Fahrenheit) and they keep my hands toasty in these ranges and could easily be used in even colder weather. I only wear summer cycling gloves under them, mainly for comfort/grip. The vents are great for when your hands get too warm and the detachable cuffs are only needed at very extreme temperatures. Don’t bother with lobster gloves or thick mitts, just buy these and you won’t be disappointed.

The best thing I bought for winter biking
These are amazing! I can ride easily with no gloves down to -10C. They cut the wind completely and leave your hands with much better dexterity on the braking, shifting and other controls (I have a Lumos helmet with a Bluetooth remote on my bar). Large enough that I can squeeze an AirZound inside too. When it is colder than -5C I start with light gloves and I can take them off and leave them inside the mitts after the first couple of minutes and they just sit at the bottom and still leave me with plenty of room for the controls. Above +5C I open the front zippers part way thru the ride to get a cooling breeze and they still stay firmly attached with the velcro straps.Only issue is they are way too hot to use above +15C. Literally had to cool my hands down by taking them out regularly when my sub-zero morning commute was followed by a warm +17C afternoon commute.Of all my winter biking gear these are my favorite!

Terrific
It does a great job in the Canadian winter. I was able to ride with thin gloves with outside temperatures below -20C.The bar end plugs are great, they prevent the Bar MItts from slipping or discourage theft. The bar ends make the installation a little more complex than just straps, but it's well worth it.

They do what they are supposed to. Period.
5 minutes to install. Lots of room, well made and warm. I tried a -15c ride without gloves, no problem. I can now commute all through a winter of -25 to -30 no worries. Well worth the money. I like the extreme version with the removable cuffs. I find getting in and out of the cuffs no problem.

I was skeptical but these are amazing.
I had a cheaper off-brand pair that i had hacked up and been using for a year so I was skeptical if these would be worth it for me. Reluctantly, I dropped the cash and installed them. They are absolutely amazing. Lots of room inside for a big glove and easy to get in and out. Most importantly, they aren't drafty and keep my hands warm. so far I've only gone down to -10degC, but I can tell that these will be fine in colder temps up to -30degC w some beefier gloves.
