An Interesting Read - Very Different From The First
The first book in this series was great. It was all story and no filler. The issue this book was gong to have was the band slowed down significantly after the Black Album, so there wasn't as much to talk about outside personal drama. This book becomes more of a character study of being in one of the biggest bands of all time and almost a defacto Lars book. He is the member of the band most willing to talk to the press and make himself available. Almost by default, it has his point of view looms large over the narrative.Give it a go, it's different and that's not a bad thing and might help give a different perspective on one of the most maligned musicians of the 21st century.
