Julia Donaldson does it again, well written and well illustrated

Very funny story.

As usual, a beautiful story by Julia Donaldson depicted very nicely. My son loves it.

It's one of my child's favorite book

Im surprised at the number of 5 star reviews. Whilst its good enough, its not on par with Julia Donaldsons other books (and we have them all). The story isnt rhyming and the plot is weak. Saying that my 3 yr old still likes it but if this is your first JD purchase, I'd choose any book of hers other than this

Overall- excellent book. It doesn’t rhyme but it has a sweet story that my toddler loved and we have been acting out the characters ever since it arrived. She has asked for it at bedtime every night since release day and we have read it several times each day. I love Lydia Monks illustrations and the Easter eggs in the pictures(references to other books the pair have done). Some excellent onomatopoeia inside!

What a lovely, well written book. My children love this one and so do I. Beautiful bright pictures, lovely storyline and engaging for the children. Good quality pages. Highly recommended.

Not her best book. Maybe a bit harsh but the quality of the others (The Gruffalo, monkey puzzle, sleepy sloths, what the ladybird heard etc) means that it would be fair to say that this isn't even in the same league. Cant get my head around the concept of a bear chasing a little girl no matter how good its intentions. Save your hard earned or spend it on some of the above examples. This book is best forgotten.

Didn’t enjoy this book as much as her others. Read to a reception class and it didn’t inspire them much.
