PGYTECHLens Hood for Mavic Mini DJI Mini 2 Mini SE Gimbal Protector

I love this as I hate having to remove the gimbal cover every time I use it. It attaches the same way a the gimbal cover and fits tightly. It fits in the flymore combo bag with no issues as well.The only issue I have is that the bottom of the hood where the clip to remove it is, sticks out a little. As a result the blades rub against it which may cause damage long term to them.Have yet to test it's effectiveness against flair, will update in timeUpdate: 04-07-2020I've been using it for 3 months now, it helps with hand launches as I now don't touch the gimbal by accident.The only issue is it's affected by high wind and it pulls the drone as it acts like a wind brake, so take it off when very windy or it could ruin videos! 2 photos of it being hit by the wind for referenceOverall very happy.

Good points - gives some protection, a little sun shielding and is easy to fit.Negatives - ruins shots in sport mode as the hood frequently becomes visible during manoeuvres. Also you can’t leave it on as the fixing clip is proud (unlike the DJI lens cover) and will damage propellers in storage. These two things make me wish I hadn’t bought it.Don’t buy it. I won’t Be using mine.

The only let down was that I fly without it what happened crashed it got gimbal covered in mud would not of happened if I had it on, so buy it use it

Seems good, just a little faff to put on, I always worry about damaging the gimbal putting it on.

Fits nicely, it’s been made well and not a cheap knock off. Fitted to my mini and it never comes off.
