Bought this impeller as a spare for my aqua top 400 canister filtre. No much to say other than it’s a spare in case the one in operation now fails.

Speed and ease of ordering.

I bought this to replace the impeller in a Rena Filstar XP3 canister filter because the measurements were awfully close and I'm happy to announce it is a successful replacement. I have not measured the throughput to see if the flow is the same but it is definitely pumping in a similar way. As a bonus, the magnet and impeller head are better connected in this part so operation is pretty silent since there's no more buzzing like I had from that connection in the Rena impeller.

Ordered this item expecting it to be shipped in the packaging shown in the description of which it's advertised on Amazon however, I received the impeller in a small ziplock plastic bag.Fortunately and (very) surprisingly, the item showed up undamaged. I gave this item a single star rating ONLY on the packaging however the item itself is a 4 star with the ceramic rod... An standard stainless steel rod would have received a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+ ⭐⭐ extra stars!As well, be VERY cautious of the impeller rod as it is not the same diameter as the original. The original rod is a different diameter than the replacement one so when you replace the impeller with this particular specimen, you might discover that the rod will ONLY fit only one of the two impellers - not both so it's important to pay attention to this, HOWEVER!! this impeller will fit the filter...strange I know but...
