Slive-4U (Silver) - Emergency Crank Radio, NOAA Weather Radio, Self-Powered Smart Phone Charger, Rechargeable Flashlight, AM/FM Radio and Siren all in one portable device for survival

I have a Kaito KA500 which has similar features but is about twice the size. The Kaito has a couple of SW bands but I've never picked up anything on them. Also, a reading light and a larger LED.Purchased the Slive-4U to save space in my bug out bag and travel with and will keep the Kaito as a home unit. Subtract a star for not being water resistant (which the Kaito is) and the LED light not being all that bright. The light is, however, adequate. Otherwise, perfect for my needs, appears well built and should last. Recommend where size (or lack thereof) is important since this unit has a lot of features in a small package.

We used this during our evacuation for Hurricane Irma. It came in handy when our shelter lost power for a few hours. We did not try the crank function, we did use batteries. It charged one of our cell-phones well. Not as quickly as it normally would charge, but it worked. We had no issues reaching a NOAA station even though we were in a windowless cement box. It is a good addition to our hurricane kit.

This emergency radio is exactly as described. The siren is quite loud. It came with a battery pack in the radio. The flashlight has two settings--bright and brighter. The strap and cell phone charger are on the side of the box for the radio, which initially i did not uncover. The radio reception is amazing and very clear. It works better than my clock radio. How they doo that all in a radio this small is amazing!

I am a weather radio junkie and this is far and away my favorite one. First I love its portability but even though its small it stands on its own. Also love love love the automatic switch to the weather radio. My other NOAA radios are too complicated and involved when turning on the weather function. With this radio the same dial takes you seamlessly to am, fm, or the weather channels. Sound is clear and strong. You'll forget you're listening to a small radio. Great price and wonderful phone charger. You can't lose on this.

Great product!! Simply awesome. I didn't expect to use it until I had a power outage and it was a lifesaver. It provided light and most importantly also charges my phone keeping my 2 year old entertained (he likes his cartoon) during the power outage. Its a great product to have around the house, you never know when you gonna need it.

This is exactly what I need. I like to listen to radio (talk show) while I'm at work. The sound and signal reception is great on Slive-4U.I don't have much experience with NOAA weather channels though, but it might be fun to give that a try. I also gave the hand cranking a try. It works. I can start listening again after just a couple of min of cranking. This will come in handy next summer when my family goes camping or my phone is hungry for the power on the road.

Small and compact with clear mono sound.The light and siren are great. Reception is very good in an area of Dallas where I get poor reception on everything. All features are satisfactory or better at a very reasonable price.
