Good product. We were very pleased.

I'm am an avid believer and user of supplements, but reviewing them is problematic, and my results may not be your results for these reasons:1) I am not a laboratory scientist, I do not play one on tv, nor do I know one, so who knows what’s exactly contained in them.2) It is difficult for consumers to see any actual difference in how you feel within a few days to a couple of weeks. Some supplements take as much as ninety days to see results.3) Even if we do notice a difference, we all take other meds or supplements that may affect our results one way or the other.4) We all have different physiologies, and are just different in so many ways (lifestyles etc). But we can hope for the best when we see others having positive actions going on, that are attributed to said supplements.So my personal non doctor opinion of my own results:I like it that these are more powerful than what they replacedGood sourced ingredients

This is a larger-than-average Omega 3 softgel, but it is still fairly easy for me to swallow. It measures exactly 1" in length. To get what is considered the full dose, you need to take two a day. If these were not softgels, I would have a difficult time swallowing them.There are several benefits and a few drawbacks to taking these gelcaps. Packed into that 1" length in each softgel is 400 mg of EPA and 300 mg of DHA--for a total of 800 mg EPA and 600 mg DHA in each dose. That is a significant amount of healthy fatty acids. There are 60 capsules in the bottle, and it is recommended that you take two a day. I like to take them one in the morning and one with supper. Taking them with a meal that contains some other fats ensures that more of this product is absorbed that way. I especially like that these softgels have no fishy aftertaste as they have a lemon flavoring.I take fish oil for the cardio-protective, anti-inflammatory, and healthy brain function benefits. I love fish, but fish also has potential side effects. Because of this, I normally eat it only once or twice a week. To get my daily fatty acids, I take supplements also. The fish oil in these softgels is sustainably sourced from anchovies, and these softgels are made right here in the USA.There are a few drawbacks with these capsules. They do contain bovine gelatin and glycerin and are not independently tested by a third party. They also are a little on the pricey side for a one-month supply. Potential buyers with allergies also should be aware that this particular brand is not allergen-free. I do not have significant allergies, so for me, that is not a problem.Comparing the benefits and limitations of this product, I feel comfortable taking this product. However, I give it four stars because of the limited testing on the product and the fact that it includes allergens.

This Beyond Omega fish oil is so good for my health, I have taken it daily for years now. Fish oil is good for my brain; heart, eyes and joints just to mention a few.This fish oil is loaded with EPA at 800mg and DHA at 600mg and anchovies is the source.These fish oil capsules are small and easy to swallow, they have no taste nor fishy burps or aftertaste.Recommended daily to take two soft gels so this container will last one month.This fish oil supplement is made in the USA.All in all I’m very pleased with this product.

I have taken fish oil regularly since 2005, and it's been an important part of my supplement regimen many years later. Omega 3 fatty acids have been shown to help with a variety of issues, and seem to help for overall brain and circulatory health. This is a great formula. It is potent, and also contains some vitamin E to prevent rancidity over time. It is also coated to prevent fish burps. While this isn't a problem for me necessarily, a lot of people do experience nasty aftertaste from taking fish oil.This is a great fish oil option. The price is pretty reasonable for what you get. Overall, I recommend it.

If you are looking at these Beyond Omega Fish Oil capsules from the Grow Vitamin store, you've come to the right place. They supply 2000 mg of fish oil, 800 mg of EPA and 600 mg of DHA which seems to be the recommended dosage. I found this when searching how much to take; "The body doesn't produce fatty acids, so researchers recommend healthy people consume 500 milligrams daily of EPA plus DHA, and people with known heart disease or heart failure should aim for nearly twice that amount (at least 800 to 1,000 milligrams daily). The Beyond Omega Fish Oil capsules are made in the USA, although the bottle states manufactured for Grow Vitamin and then gives their address. These didn't leave any fishy after taste nor upset my stomach. The capsules are a great source for fish oil, DHA and EPA. There are 60 in the bottle with a recommended dosage of 2 capsules for a 30 day supply. I took off 1 Star as they're a bit pricey. However if you purchase 2 bottles they do give you 5% off your order.
