These shorts fit true to waist size and are comfortable both in and out of water. I’d prefer if they had an inner mesh lining for swimming, but also recognize the trade-off on versatility as a hybrid short at that point. Overall, nice quality of material, considering that polyster is fairly standard for trunks.

Do not order whatever size you actually wear. Just don't. Order at least a full size larger. I'm 5'9" and about 230 lbs. I usually get an XL in swim trunks and have room to spare from top to bottom, and in the waist. A comfortable, and relaxed fit, in my opinion. These, not so much. They look great, accurate to the photos. The material feels good, as well. But, the fit leaves a lot to be desired. These felt tight on me. Too tight. More than snug. I'd go at least one size higher than usual with these. Might order some more and update this review since I like the colors so much.

I love these trunks. The colors are bright, the material is good, and they fit just about right. (Just a tad big). The only gripe I have with these are that there’s not a swimming trunk net/mesh on the inside. Otherwise, they’d be perfect! I can’t wait to wear these on the beach in San Diego. 🏖☀️

Great shorts, could ha e ordered a size larger than I typically wear, they're a bit snug around the butt.

I've been wanting my husband to buy some shorter board shorts. He finally did! He's 6'2", 210. Based on the reviews, he ordered an XL. They fit well, an inch or so above his knees (perhaps just a tad roomy, which he prefers). He says a Large would have been another return. He really likes them...so much so that he ordered another pair in a different print. Huge win for us both!
