If you're thinking about buying one of those $35 pencil skirts from that "pop up party" company you should stop and have a look at this!I ordered this skirt for work. But I had no idea if it would work for me. I only took the risk because of amazon's return policy.The night before this was set to be delivered I attended a pop up party for that leggings/skirt company that everyone is going nuts for. I purchased a "cassie" pencil skirt in a taupe color at the party for $35. When this skirt arrived I was stunned to see that it was the exact same skirt, made of the exact same material, with the se waistband and hem.Thankfully, I was able to return the $35 skirt from the party and I have now ordered another color of this skirt.It's comfortable, cute and long enough for the office. I'm 5'10" and wear between 12-14 US sizing and the XL fit with plenty of room. Despite not having a slit, it was comfortable to walk and sit in. I just ordered a L and will update this review regarding the fit of it as well after it arrives.**UPDATE**The large arrived and also fits me well. It is only slightly smaller than the XL. Love both of these skirts. Both work well as strapless tops as well. And can even be used as a scarf. I expect that I will order this in several more colors.

I just adored the yellow color so I ordered this in turmeric. Product arrived today I was excited to try it on...and was disappointed. The fabric reminds me of a thin sweater-esque material and is see through! I saw another reviewer that had the same experience and included pictures but I will not do this because it's simply way too sheer...the skirt itself fit fine, maybe a bit snug, but even so it should not have been that see through. Sad day.

Love the color the way it shapes you but around your knee it keeps you walking with baby steps instead of your/my normal stride if it was a little more stretchy in the knee area it would be perfect

I had a skirt like this in the 80s that I loved. I think this buffalo plaid is sort of timeless so I have been looking to replace that skirt for a long time. I didn't want wool and linings and zippers and all that, just something easy. this is perfect. I worried before I got it that it might look really cheap since it isn't woven like plaid is, but a print. But it isn't a cheesy fabric where the design is printed on in an ugly way. Plus the stretch fabric is nice for moving around.I am 5"8" and am an XL person, and this fit me. It is slightly short but I leave it just under my natural waist and it is long enough for a more mature person. Just to the tops of my knees. If you are younger...you could pull it up or fold it to be as short as you want. I wore it with a simple, black top, a simple black flyaway cardigan (which I am sure I got here on amazon) and red suede ballet flats (from My Habit... dang, I miss that site, Amazon!) The first four people I saw that day complemented me on my outfit. I don't get complements every day so that was nice. I almost want to buy another one just to have in case I snag this one or something because I love it so much.

I most normally wear a small and the medium was way too small. The quality is great though! Will be returning for a large!

It is nice and pretty color ( purple one). It fits perfectly and good price. I will wear it for Christmas party

Estupenda , arreglada y buen precio. Eso sí un poco transparente pero en invierno con unas medias más oscuras está genial.
