Sewing Machine Light, Magnetic Base LED Work Light with Flexible Gooseneck for Sewing Machine Drill Presses Craft Workbenches Lathes

I bought this with the purpose of trying to modify it to fit my Bosch GCM12SD Mitre saw. The intent was to create a shadow cut line(that this overpriced saw should come from the factory with). This fit my saw quite well with a little modification and trickery. I had to sand down the edges of the light housing to allow it to fit snugly into the empty cavity at the front of the metal blade guard. I was able to drill a hole in the metal guard to allow the back of the light housing to nest into the hole and let the cable pass out along the ridge of the guard. This with a little hot glue and its very secure in place. I had to disassemble the light to lengthen the "Goose Neck" portion of the lamp anyways. This gave me the slack needed to mount the included switch up on the saw handle. This just needed a little wiring extension and resoldering the two light connections.Overall, I am very happy with the light. Its very bright, gives a great shadow line, and also floods the area to provide extra lighting on your work piece.

Good size, good magnet (put on a metal old singer) bright light. Flexible neck on the light seems strong and holds it in position.

I love the magnet on this small lamp. I haven’t used it on my sewing machine. But I’ve used it while hand stitching by placing it on my lamp. The light can be focused on where I’m stitching small tears on men’s pants or shirts.

This sewing machine light is working better than I expected. It’s bright, and adjusts easily. I can see much better with this light and using it allows me to be able sew in the evening.

I recently bought an older Singer machine, and it’s metal. This lamp stays where I put it, and it gives off a perfect amount of light.

I bought 2 of these lights, one for my sewing machine and one for my wood lathe, I love them. They are small, so don't get in the way and are very bright. The magnets hold beautifully, but they are easy to move and the flexible neck is just right. I will buy 2 or 3 more for my sailboat.

Nice bright light for my vintage sewing machine. Had to rewire the machine so pulled out the original light fixture. This works much better and is movable to wherever I want it due to the two metal plates.
