Works great, but with a tip. I saw many folks downgraded this pump because the red hoses, and the tight packaging, come out coiled and kinked. This would make them tough to use right out of the box as others have written. Expecting this, prior to use, I filled a bucket with very hot water and placed the hoses in them to get them hot also. I then took them out of the water and kept pulling/stretching them while they were soft and working out the kinks. I did this heat-and-pull a few times and then hung them up vertically to dry overnight and to let gravity straighten them out. They came out perfect and, again, the pump worked great! I first used it to remove a couple gallons of old gas from a Harley tank,it performed wonderfully. One of the best $10-11 bucks I've spent in a while.One last tip - save the Amazon box that the pump is packaged in and store the pump and hoses in there so the hoses are more relaxed. Do not store the hoses back in the original package or they will become coiled and kinked again.

Put this to the test with a few different items with gas in it we had to get out for the winter. With constant pumping, it pumped everything right out of the tanks and into the jerry I was filling up. No problem. It took a bit of holding my breath right to get it to flow without pumping, but once it did, it was pretty easy to just hold it there and let it flow, which was nice. Beats the hell out of trying to use my mouth, even if I have to pump it the whole time. It can suck up a lot of fluid pumping it the whole time.After use, I pumped through a few jugs of water to clean it out and put it back on the shelf to use for another day.My only complaint is that the tubes that go into the tanks are curved or rolled up - most tubes come this way I know - so when trying to get into the far corners of a tank it's a bit of fandangaling! The tubes that do come with it are as long as I needed, and seem to be of durable material that can handle many usages.

Used this to empty my snowblower at end of season. It works ok. Hand pumped the remainder. Didn't try to siphon with it. The pump itself is a bit sticky to work. It did what I wanted but was really just looking for a small tube with a small bulb attachment but couldn't find one.

Sadly this product worked only once. I use to remove old gasoline from my boat and I went to use it again 2 weeks later and it didn't work anymore. My guess is that the plastic used for the pump it is not ethanol resistant melting the internal parts. Amazon kindly refund me.
