iF013 Bluetooth Shower Speaker - Black

This little speaker is pretty amazing. I love the loudness of the speakers and it's sleek design. And the fact that I can have it in the shower with me, versus a speaker outside of the shower I was using. I really only have 2 cons against this product. The first being is the suction cup doesn't really work well. The only place I could put this in my shower (since I have tile walls) is on my glass sliding door. And the speaker kept falling off the door and landing on my foot. But I fixed that problem by just placing it on my corner shelf in the shower. The second issue is the raising volume. I hate how I can't really control the volume well. It's either I go way too loud by pressing up on the button. Or too low. And if I don't leave it pressed down long enough I either skip or restart the song. So that's annoying. I wish you could double tap on the button or something to that fact to raise or lower the volume. But otherwise solid product. And I love it!

this is my second purchase of the same style speaker by different manufacture I thought this speaker was gonna be better than my old one but I was wrong. my older speaker when I turn it on and go to FM it automatically goes to my favorite station with this Fox one every time I turn on I have to search for my favorite station he does not remember it. i’m so disappointed with this purchase. this speaker does not hold a charge! i’ve tried everything, tried to drain the battery, tried different types of charging techniques, high dollar charging cords, wall charging & by my own portable charging device that I use to charge my iPhone and it charges it quick and it still will not hold a charge! I can barely get in the shower and it says “battery low please charge” it’s a pain in the ass! save your money moved to a different product! FWI i’ve read some of your posts about how the suction cup will not stick in your shower. I’be had that problem before also but figured out that if you take a little rubbing alcohol and clean the tile, it takes the film that’s on the tile and cleans it and use that to clean the suction cup also and it sticks fine for me. The speaker sucks though!😕

Update 4/17/2017 changing from 2 stars to 4 due to great customer service iFox contacted me and sent me a replacement speaker that works much better. Overall I feel this is a good product for its price point. **UPDATE** This seller is committed to outstanding customer service! When they read my review as originally submitted, they contacted me to see if they could help. They offered to send me another unit, and provided a way to save the last FM station and volume for next use... simply by going back to Bluetooth mode before powering off. Perhaps they should add this to the manual... I've added a star because of their outstanding service and I can add that it is indeed WATERPROOF, and works after being completely submerged. Thank you, iFox Creations!Pairs easily, decent sound, but distorts at higher volume levels. The markings on the buttons are absolutely impossible to see, especially when the LED lights are glaring in your eyes.The suction cup is not very strong, and the unit droops when attached to the wall because there is a lot of wiggle room between the cup and the speaker. The major problem with the device, though, is that simply turning it on to listen to the last FM station you played is impossible. First you press and hold for "power on", then the mode button to get to FM... but it doesn't remember your last station! So you have to tune through the band with the up and down buttons until you find it... but wait... the volume reverts to lowest, so it's another press and hold to get it high enough to hear whether you've found your station. Oh... and the LED light show defaults to "on", so it's another five or six presses to shut them off... again. Yes, those lights... they can't be turned off when charging the thing, and the red glow lights up a room at night. A good idea for a product but poorly executed design. It's on it's way back.

I bought this for my kayak, because it has Bluetooth and FM. I like that I can stream music off my phone or just find my favorite radio station. It has good FM reception and sounds good on both Bluetooth and FM. It has good sound and goes pretty loud both streaming and FM. Finding your favorite radio station is a little difficult because you have to scan through all the stations to find it. the suction cup holds it secure to the smooth area on my kayak. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  If you're looking for a waterproof, dust proof, shock proof, Bluetooth wireless speaker this is it. Unlike some competitors I saw, this isn't just splashproof it's completely waterproof. Take to the pool, lake, on the boat, in the shower, by any water outlets, and have no worries. I have soaked this speaker, and works like it's suppose to. For having a 5w speaker it's still extremely loud. Sound is excellent. Any phone or device with Bluetooth capability to send sound will work. I tested on two different main manufacturers phones. The battery life is about 8 hours, give or take, depending on volume and lights usage, only taking 2-3 hours to charge. Can use for mp3, speaker phone, fm radio, and general Bluetooth usages. At this price it's well worth the price. I highly recommend this product. Great product iFox Creations! ☆☆☆☆☆

Good things first - the FM receiver seems pretty good, and the speaker sends out a respectable quality given the size. I have not had any trouble connecting with my various bluetooth units either. I found the price of the product to be a in fitting range for the build quality and feel of it, as well.However, I have found a few annoying details that I was not expecting from this product:The buttons on the speaker are - mildly said - confusing. The "volume up"/"next track" and "volume down/previous track" are on the left and right sides, respectively, when you have the speaker in the logical position (the icon in the center is right side up). I would expect "down" to be on the left and "up" to be on the right. For now, I've had to sharpie on a "+" and "-" on the buttons, in order to even find the right buttons to hit.Adding to that, the volume change buttons being combined with the track change buttons means that you have to long-click the button to change the volume, while short-clicking to change tracks/radio station. This causes me to repeatedly either change the volume too much, or accidentally change the track - or both - too often. I have no idea if I'll ever be able to get used to this mechanic. I wish that the product divided this into separate buttons, or at least have the logic go the other way around - such that a short-click would be a step up/down in volume, and a long-click was a track-change.The icons on the buttons are also very difficult to see, since they are fairly small, and are only shapes in the red button, with no color change to help you see them better. Ideally, they would have some black marking in the indents of the symbols or something. I can't imagine that people using glasses (which you usually take off in the shower!) have any chance of seeing what each button is while showering, and the indents aren't deep enough to feel the difference.Aside for the weirdness of the buttons, I have had trouble with the suction cup not keeping the speaker on the tile wall or my bathroom mirror - with it falling down after less than half an hour. It might be because of a slight texturing on my tiles, and maybe a small amount of limescale stuck to the mirror (visible in the picture I attach). It seems that the suction cup works a little better if you wet it slightly beforehand (at least it seems to on the mirror), so hopefully this trick does it.

Initially had issues with sound dropping out, thought it was the bluetooth connection, but came to realise that I was at the limit of my WiFi signal. Boosted Wifi and have had no issues since. It was a little smaller than I imagined, but having said that, it provides a very big sound for its' size.I'm very glad I bought this, and would recommend it. It's ideal for the steam-room or shower room. My son now 'borrows' it all the time for when he is in the shower, says the sound quality is better than his blue-tooth speaker !Thank you.

love this speaker, had many shower speakers before and this outshines them all. The sound quality is very good, brilliant volume on it. Bluetooth link is an excellent idea and to top it all, you can still have a shower whilst waiting on that important phone call . All in all well worth the money and would recommend highly.

On the positive side it's a nice compact radio. However, the buttons are difficult to see even with good eyesight and even more difficult to use. It's extremely hard to find the station you want and the radio has now taken to switching the sound off. It won't even stay tuned into stations when I do eventually find one. The battery life is very poor and runs out of charge quickly. I'm looking for another radio as this one is heading for the bin!
