I thought it was a nice idea and am happy to say that this unit works even better than the factory one... When I placed my iPhone 12 on the OEM charger, it wouldn't charge and warned me to 'remove the metal' from the surface (magsafe, maybe?). This charger happily charges my iPhone 12 Mini with or without a Magsafe case installed!I also happen to think that it is the most factory-looking device out there, as the ABS plastic matches the surrounding cupholder plastic very nicely and doesn't attract fingerprints or glow obnoxiously like some other units out there.The biggest negative of this thing is that it reduces the cupholder size a bit. (See pictures) Keep in mind, however, that If you have a huge phone this will happen anyway so it's not a deal-breaker by any means. Know that you can still fit a regular can of soda (beer?) in the affected cupholder and that the rear one still accepts my large YETI cup with ease.... Of course, each door in these vehicles also has a spot for large water bottles, so there's that.The charging 'sweet spot' is rather large on this unit and keeping the phone centered isn't an issue with the non-slip pad. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and will update if anything changes.

Works OK, the middle of the charger got ruined, looked like the heat of the charger got disfigured! Still works.

Fits 2023 S60 like a glove. Cover closes as well (rubs just a tiny bit). Easy to install; just push it on. Would prefer no text (or black) but not a deal breaker. You lose a bit of the front cup holder. Not sure how quickly it charges but seems fine.

Fits perfectly in the center console, a snap to install and low profile enough that it fits under the center console sliding cover.A few things to note: As others have mentioned, it does cut off some space from cup holder closest to the unit. So some items may not fit anymore. If they had thought it through a bit, I bet they could have designed it with that in mind. This is the main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.Also note it can get hot if it sits in the sun and you are using it, so always close the slider cover when not being used in the summer.While I would have preferred Volvo had designed it into a car this new, it’s an excellent substitute.

I absolutely love my purchase. I wished it charge faster and didn’t block one of the cup holders. It looks like it is part of the car and it’s great because my phone connects wirelessly to Apple CarPlay.
