Grandson loves this book.It was banged up in shipping...or rather, it was packed with bent corners...but we wanted it for Christmas so we kept it.It's arranged by topic chapters with loads of info on every page. Perfect snippets for a short-attention-span child, or for a child who will sit and read it straight through.

This book is also perfect for my granddaughter who loves non-fiction and science. She knows way too much for a 7 year old but she eats this up and tells all about what she learned.

My 8-1/2 yr old son is a HUGE MtH fan--I bought him the 52 book set (pre-renumbering) for his 7th b'day and have been adding new books as they came out. I thought he might like this additional fun book and he LOVES it! :)

My 7 year old daughter loves Magic Treehouse books but this is by far her favorite. It is full of interesting facts and provides a fun learning tool. I am well educated and well read and I am constantly learning new things from this book which makes it fun for me too.

My 8 year old nephew loves this book. At first he told me it was scary? because there's stuff about spiders, bats, lots of insects...but he still looks at the book often and enjoys it
