These curtains are perfect. They block the sun and actually kept our living room cooler that it had ever been. They are very durable and the color is true to picture. They were easy to install and have great coverage. Great product for the price.

I purchased these curtains in the color “cream”. I think they would be better described as “custard”. Other than that i really like these curtains. They are high quality and do a great job blocking out light. They are thick and feel really nice. They also come way less wrinkled than other curtains I ordered. Just wish the color was different.The white color is a bright white but the black backing shows through just a tiny bit giving them a cool color tone. They have just a tiny sheen to them but not enough that I wouldn’t call them shiny.

I originally ordered these for our bedroom because my husband has trouble sleeping unless the room is really dark. I've since ordered for our other bedroom as well ... 2 sets of Beige, and 2 sets of Champagne. I should mention that, in person, these 2 colors are almost the same. Even though the colors are light, they ARE solid blackout. They also keep the rooms cooler which, in the current heat wave, is a definite benefit.They come out of the package fairly wrinkled. But they WILL hang out smooth over time. They feel properly heavy, and silky. The only negative I can say is that one pair was slightly longer than the other. But, after rotating them around, and adjusting the rods a bit, they look just fine. We could have returned and re-purchased, but it wouldn't have been worth the trouble. I would definitely recommend these for room-darkening, and thermal insulation.UPDATE:After I wrote the above, I ordered 5 more sets, in Taupe, for the living room. The color is perfect and what I consider a definite taupe - light creamy milk-chocolate, greyish undertones. Not reddish or yellowish as some brown tones can be. Some might describe it as mushroom, but I think with more brown than grey. I now have 9 sets and, yes, I definitely recommend for complete blackout, and insulation.

Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. They totally block out the light which was a must. Dogs get me up way too early when a ray of light peeks through the curtains. These actually let me get up to my alarm or on a day off they let me sleep in. Nice material, great price. Variety of colors.👍👍👍

If I need curtains again I'm buying these ones. The color is perfect, they are 100% blackout curtains when the lights go off you can't see anything. They fit my window perfectly with enough over hang to close the sides. I do have cats that like to sit in the window and they are durable enough to withstand them. The size was spot on as well I got the 52×63.

I bought these for my dorm room during a heatwave, mainly because of the heat that comes through the window, but also because the original curtains I had let a lot of light through in the mornings (I don’t have a normal curtain rod so that’s why the top looks funny in the picture). These curtains are great for blocking out the light, I can’t even tell what time of day it is because they don’t let any light through (other than at the top but it’s negligible). In terms of heat, I’m sure it insulates to some extent, and it’s definitely not as hot when standing next to the window. However, I’m not sure it has made much of a difference in the temperature of the room. Although my dorm room has no AC, so it’s pretty hard to make any impact on the temperature, but I’ve taken the temperature in my roommates’ rooms (who don’t have blackout curtains) and they are all the same as mine. They also come folded up so there are a lot of creases in them when you hang them. I don’t have an ironing board here but I used my hair straightener where I could reach and they came right out, so a steamer or iron would fix it no problem. The quality is very nice, the fabric is thick and doesn’t look cheap or anything. Colour looks just like the pictures (These are the greyish white) and the side that faces the window has a layer of black fabric. Overall, the blackout is great, the insulating may or may not work or be that noticeable.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt inclined to after replacing my old “blackout” curtains with these. I don’t think I knew what blackout actually was until I got these, they work very well blocking out light. Looks great!

I bought this curtains set for my Broadcasting classroom. Students need the light blocked when using the computers. I installed them with a tension rod. Very easy to install. They are an impressive amount of thick fabric. Black on the back and white on the front. The light is totally blocked and creates a great working environment. My room faces south and gets the hot afternoon sun. I find my classroom temperature dropped to 68 when the curtains are closed. I’m also betting they cut down on classroom noise (my floor is tile, too). The price was right and the quality exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend, especially if you are looking to insulate as well as block light. I purchased several other curtains that claimed to block the light 100% and I wanted white curtains so I knew this would be difficult. Very happy with my purchase!

My first curtain purchase (living dangerously in my later years). Given the price of competing products, wasn't expecting much. Was very pleasantly surprised with what arrived. The size was perfect for what I wanted. I am not really expecting much thermal benefit, but I'm sure these will take the edge off walking past the wood and glass doors to my conservatory. If a suitable size was available, would purchase for some windows.

The curtains are perfect, so pleased with the colour lovely soft grey. The size of the curtains is perfect. I needed a small width and not too long I tried quite a few places and were all too big for my window. I will definitely buy from you again.

For the money they are good value - they work - all good - you'll still get a bit of light round the edges but you will with any curtain unless you go oversize on every perimiter
